Janelle my dear, please do not knock the magic that is the Iron Giant. That movie is directed by Brad Bird, the director of Tomorrowland, the Incredibles movies, and Ratatouille. The man is a genius and The Iron Giant was his pet project.
I recognized every single movie they were shown, and I’ve only seen Thumbelina and Anastasia once. These are all up there with the likes of; Once Upon a Forest, Rock a Doodle, The Pebble and the Penguin, The Swan Princess, The Princess and the Goblin, a Troll in Central Park, and We’re Back; A Dinosaur’s Story.
Man, you're taking back to when I was five watching those films. That brings to mind All Dogs Go to Heaven and Fievel Goes West as well. All the movies back then had some very VERY nice soundtracks and didn't have popculture all over the place. Felt like the movies back then were more original compared to today...
Ikr! The iron giant, pagemaster, quest for camelot are all beautiful stories compared to SOME of the HD graphics but no brain plots these days Quest for camelot at the start of the movie literally UP-level gut wrenching with her dad 😢 Thumbelina is literally a classic fable by hans christian anderson made in 1835 vs tinkerbell made in 1904 The iron giant literally sacrificed himself to save the town that thought of him as nothing but a monster! Literally widen your scope beyond visuals kids cos the amount of disrespect I can’t even🫰
As someone born in 1992 I’ve seen all of them and more. I even had a small tv that plugged into the cigarette lighter so I could watch my vhs tapes on the way to ice skating lessons.
I turned in a book report on james and the giant peach one week before it premiered in movie theater in elementary school.i felt so linked to the movie when i saw it.
I'm amazed at how many of these movies the kids didn't know. Maybe I should get back on acquiring physical copies of my favorites bc I need to be teaching the nieces and nephews the culture tbh.
The HunchBack of Notre Dame one of Disney's best animated movies with one of the most f***ed up villains and villain songs ever and for anyone who might not know the first Balto movie is based off of a true story and if i remember correctly there's also a book of Balto
Pagemaster was my favorite Macaulay Culking movie growing up. I love movies that mix live action and animation. I NEED TO REWATCH THAT RIGHT NOW. That's the definition of nostalgia to me. That was like Harry Potter before Harry Potter to me.
janelle and Lucas, too cool for school and trying too hard to be funny. Fail on both attempts. A lot of hard work went into makin these movies, with far less resources to make them look like the movies that come out today.janelle and Lucas, too cool for school and trying too hard to be funny. @@followerofchrist3125 Yes, He did. It was Don Bluth’s leaving and early success that inspired Disney to put more effort into their films because they didn’t want to be outdone by the competition.
kids and teens of today should pay respect to old animation movies/show bcoz with out it their favorite animated movie/show wont even exist.... so show a little respect and dont act as if old animation is above you bcoz it might suprise you how most of the movie/show you seen took a little bit of reference from the old animated movie/show
I think The Hunchabck of Notre Dame was way too dark to be a kids movie, first off, BUT the sad thing I heard about Quasi (the hunchback) was that the gargoyles, one reason they never really "fit in" with their humor and their art style, was because they were not real. They were figments of his imagination, hence why they sounded kinda like an "inner voice"... this movie makes me sad. but it's very good!
@@greekanimefun he is, he’s the reason we got the Land Before Time and All Dogs Go to Heaven. He showed that he wasn’t afraid to take on Disney, he was willing to give it all he had to make himself the animation master
well then shouldn't they tell people about these being reposts? just waiting what they're gonna rebrand this channel later as they did the same thing with the atm bullseye ..
Y’all did [a bit] better. Though still the “disrespect?”🤣 Between Jaxon & Lucas: Lucas is worst in this case. Jaxon proved me wrong & shows interest.(Does Gen Z know 80’s cartoons) While Lucas dises/disses(?), & I still remember the guess which is your parent’s food/cooking episode(s.)😆
6:57 economics a bit, but I'd say more a mix of military and unions. Antz had a darker message to it than Bug's Life did, especially the battle scene or well don't recall that ants name but the one voiced by Christopher Walken how he could tell that worker ants had same value as the higher ups.
3:42 The Pagemaster Is One Of My All-Time Favorite Movie. Not Surprise They Don’t Know About It 😅 10:48 Another One Of My All-Time Favorite Movies. James And The Giant Peach. Such A Great Movie!
The poster for Thumbelina still had the name written on it. At the bottom right, it said "Based on Hans Christian Anderson's Thumbelina" Right next to the book on the poster. The Pagemaster did the same thing on the bottom of the poster. Also Quest for Camelot. And Anastasia. And Prince of Egypt. And James and the Giant Peach. And the Rugrats Movie. Wow guys, I know this is an old clip but, I'm wondering now, how did they not know the names when it was written right there?
Why do I keep forgetting the other channels feature reuploads of videos already available on the main react channel? I had to get about four movies in before realizing I'd seen this video before. Though seriously, where do those two kids get off saying the animation to Iron Giant looks bad? In what way did the animation of the giant falling to Earth look like bad quality? That's on par with 90's Disney. If they enjoy that level of animation, there is no excuse for that judgemental response.
Janelle my dear, please do not knock the magic that is the Iron Giant. That movie is directed by Brad Bird, the director of Tomorrowland, the Incredibles movies, and Ratatouille. The man is a genius and The Iron Giant was his pet project.
It was also Vin Diesel's first movie role
Honestly, no one understands how iconic Pagemaster was! So good
The blatant disrespect to the Pagemaster! I adored that movie as a child!
Right? Like where do they get off?
Laughing at the quality of The Iron Giant... Ignoring the fact that it's one of the best 2D animated films in decades.
And known for being one of the most saddest movies. Not as sad as Green Mile, My Girl, or Homeward Bound but pretty darn close.
The Pagemaster was one of the greatest animated movies of the 90's
Imagine not liking the animation from The Iron Giant, but then praising the animation for James and the Giant Peach. lol

I LOVE The Iron Giant! Was one of the movies I watched as a kid with my dad! I wanted to slap them both!
Of that age and have not seen it, I need to, but even with only seeing the bits I have I /know/ it is not "Ew" it is amazing.
Dang kids, dont knock Pagemaster
Some of these Gen Z'ers are such movie snobs. Don't knock these films until you see them!

lucas and janelle need to be sat down and forced to watch all the disney classics from the 90s and early 20s.
How do you not know what Camelot is and the tale of King Arthur? I don't understand

Such an old episode but still love it
It's easy to tell just looking at this that this is a little older. Both Jaxon and Jayka certainly look a lot older now. As do Dani and Lucas.
if I'm not mistaking it was already on the REACT channel some while ago.
Two of them were such haters!
In my opinion The Prince of Egypt is the best Dreamworks movie
When the producer says “Ahh you could be Esmeralda you could be the humpback.” Boy I want your confidence!!
Don BLUTH, the first person to ever challenge Disney in the animated movie department

So now we're reviving episodes from a year or 2 ago🤦♀️
Kids today (and some adults) care way too much about graphics and modern standards of animation.
Modern animation all looks the same.
8:21 Every movie they've actually seen A+ they love it. Any movie they haven't seen, straight trash, would not watch. I'm seeing a pattern here.
I was saying the same thing like make it make sense!!😒😒🙄🙄
What on earth?! How long ago was this? I think these re uploads are getting out of hand
Put the actual release date, redux, or channel origin in the title.
yea i was about to say they all look younger than other videos
show more says 2022

This is an old video. Jaxon isn't a teen anymore he's in his early 20s.
Wait.... Jaxon a man now?

"Camelot, that sounds like ocelot !"
