Perfect video that sums up Pepe in a nutshell.
Cannot keep the ball well, too soft on the ball and exposes the ball alot while dribbling thus gets dispossessed easily, too left footed and predicatable in every department, doesn't really link up well with any of his teammates, holds the ball for too long only to mess up in the end, hits side nettings while taking corners, loses balance while attempting unnecessary dribbles, misplaces simple passes, shooting accuracy is terrible and very selfish as well. Overall an absolute wasteful and predicatable player.

It's clearly evident that Pepe has some serious flaws in his basics. Napoli dodged a bullet and we got robbed. Another player who is going to be hard to offload. We would be lucky if could even get 30M for him. He is definitely one of the biggest flop of the PL history and I don't think he'll ever come good in this league. We should had gone for Ismaila Sarr or Buendia then itself. We could had saved money and lot better quality. Unfortunately now we have ended up this Iwobi 2.0 fruad. We sold one to Everton for 30M and bought another for 70M.

But his attributes were limited and especially lacking in big games etc. From there their spiral started and it was all self inflicted. We paid a huge amount for him and he hasn't done anything as of now to prove he was worth it. Even I had thought initially, he will be a good signing but his struggle later made it evident that he is going to fail. Praising each and every player in the club, does not make you a true supporter. Supporting players is fine but not blindly. If the player is getting enough chances and still not living upto expectations then we have to look for a replacement. We can improve only if we have that kind of mentality.
