- I spend a lot of time on this channel reviewing products, trying to help you spend your dollars wisely, and a rare thing has happened where a company actually wants to hear my voice and my input to get you the kind TCG product that I would want to play with, that would be my dream product. A product for everyone.
Well that’s exactly what Legend Story Studios, makers of the Flesh And Blood trading card game asked me over one year ago. We talked about everything I thought would make a great product. The talented minds at LSS worked and revised and then in discussing with me further, revised again, and then a few times more, and finally came up with this, ‘Round The Table, a product designed in collaboration with me, The Professor, and I am so happy that I get to show it off to you, right now!

it's so nice to see a card game company actually appreciating him and his critiques and compliments instead of just taking him for granted and shrugging him off. Like other cardboard based companies we all know.

@@DoubleBeast It's not Post Malone that bothers me, it's Hasbro/WotC using it as a cash grab with Secret Lairs that are still sub-par. Here, we get playable 4 decks with a playmat for $70 vs a handful of cards for $30-$40

Well, I hadn't played Flesh & Blood as of yet, but now that I can summon the Professor to help me out whenever I need, I'm thinking it's time to try it out.

Quit hating on Alex. He's not wrong. Magic is dirt cheap with them reprinting everything. Over and over and over
do try is relatively cheap and if you are a mtg player, you will be really excited with a gameply that is not based on mana screw. Also only in 4 years has introduced many new concepts and themes and it is not just reprinting the same card effects with different arts.
legend story studios proves once again they feel know and honor everyone that loves their games.

I just raided my lgs bulk commons bin to make 14 blitz commoner decks to play casual fab w my friends. So glad to get into this game

I really respect that no packaging was wasted here. At first I thought the box was a bit too big but then you explained it's a storage box. I really do respect when companies put thought into reducing waste or was the packaging can be reused.

I've been interested in FaB for some time now, but never bought or even played it because I didn't want to invest in another TCG. That might just be the product the will finally make me try this game. Congrats and thank you, Professor! 🥳

I honestly thought FaB was a meme pump and dump until I saw the artwork. Now it's my favorite card game hands down.

When I saw the thumbnail I thought WotC had extended an olive branch to you after wiser people inside the company realized that Magic's fan creators are invaluable brand ambassadors. I'm sorry it wasn't WotC, and sorry WotC still doesn't see the value you add to Magic, but I'm happy and delighted that the people at Flesh And Blood are more human-minded and less facelessly corporatized and made such a kind and cool gesture! 😊😊

I've been waiting for these spoilers very eagerly. Super excited to get my hands on this product!
Years ago, I remember finding this channel while looking for deck box reviews, as one of the Pokemon cards I had pulled twice during a draft ended up being worth quite a lot and I would be able to get a box for my Magic deck if I traded it in.
I did that trade, used that box for years, and now I even moved very close to the card shop I got it from. I can't wait to see this product in my local game store, it really feels like a full circle has been made and it's just very wholesome.
Going from a teenager who needed to save pennies and dollars, and trade in his best pulls to be able to get a 20$ deck box, to now an adult with admittedly poor financial habits, and seeing this channel go from reviews to actually shaping and molding entire TCG products which I'll be able to find at that same store... it's just such a wild reminder of how fast time flies when you're not looking closely at it.
Fantastic product! Can’t wait to see more of the cards included. Love the flavourful EVO pit fight cards. Can see this being a huge hit for new players and EDH converts.

I'm really glad, that FaB got this Content Creator to cosplay a character from their new product.
You know, I'm a Magic player through and through. Dabbled in Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Digimon (the new one), Cardfight: Vanguard, Legends of Runeterra, Hearthstone, Chaotic... When FaB and MetaZoo came out, I wrote them off as "boring" and "unoriginal". I still hold that opinion about MetaZoo. But seeing this from Legend Story, and hearing your naught-but-glowing praise about FaB? I just might pick up one of these kits. I just might. You as a channel are genuinely the best, unfiltered, unashamed, unbiased channel I've seen to date (not to malign other creators - I value them all too). The amount of excitement you have for this product, and FaB and Legend Story Studios in general, makes me want to like FaB. Thank you, Prof, for making this cold, dead, unbeating stone in my chest pump a few warm pulses of excitement around my perpetual-hype-weary body.

Congrats Professor and congrats to LSS and Flesh and Blood. While you getting your own card/deck and getting to help, I think LSS is the real winner here. In my opinion, it was VERY wise of LSS to reach out to Tolarian Community College to help build a ready to play out of the box, multi-player set. The Prof has always championed both players and local game stores, and this seems like a great product for both (I hope the margins are great and there are incentives for LGS locations carrying it, like maybe special launch day events with prize/giveaway support)
I wish more companies were interested in the thoughts and feeling of their player base rather than just cramming foiled, numbered nonsense down people's throats thinking the suckers will buy anything. I can't wait to learn more about the product, it might even get me playing Flesh and Blood, although I'd have to find friends to play with first.

I quit MTG a year ago to pick up FaB, and I haven’t looked back since. Worth it.
I've also quit MTG to pick up FaB and no regrets so far! Totally worth it
@@jeremygardner3183from my experience flesh and blood is very fun but is almost impossible to play casually so it's a bit rough for me to stay involved. Like you really need to know match ups and individual heros. Very exhausting and takes a lot of time. But a good well designed game

Couldn't have happened to a better ambassador to TCGs! Congrats, Prof. (and TCC team!), this is a precon product I can look forward to buying myself, *AND* recommend-full-stop-no-caveats to friends and acquaintances whom I wish to get addicted to luxury cardboard like myself!
I am incredibly excited for this product. It seems well designed, even if I am not a player overly interested in Ultimate Pit Fight play, and I'm still excited to pick up a copy-and-a-half of this to fill out some deck options. Particularly excited to see more Crouching Tiger support, that was a wild surprise!
Also, in particular, thanks for being down for your representation in the game being a counts-as card; it's made the product as a whole a lot more appealing for folks that aren't as into games crossing into non-game parts of their lives, and means that those that love what you do will be able to show that proudly. EDIT: Turns out I’m wrong about this last part, they are mechanically unique, just in a way that likely won’t be relevant for other formats. Professor shares the vanish zone Evo playing with Teklovossen, but has a price reduction instead of an instant ability to play Evo as instant and draw a card.

1st & foremost, I almost never watch non-MtG vids by Professor but the title stating that his likeness is forever etched onto an actual play card, piques my curiosity.
So about 5 min into this, I decided to comment & bet on this - (in this vid) Prof. would never complain about WotC’s indifference (at best) & even disdain of a most diligent + sincerest critic, that is Prof. Meanwhile, a budding, rival card game has reached out to have Prof’s input for tis new product. In comparison, what hubris on the part of WotC for so many many years! Another good reason to scoff at WotC, DESPITE myself being an MtG fan & customer for the longest time.
…perhaps it’s even fitting to say that BECAUSE we are long time fans/customers of MtG but Hasbro/WotC has on many occasions practically spit on our faces, slapped our hands, while constantly reaching ever deeper into unreasonable corners of our wallets.
Fer shame, Hasbro/WotC, fer shame!
If Prof. should ever give up & dump MtG for other games that care more, I’ll advocate for the burning down of Hasbro’s front gate. WotC should really search their (is it even there, now?!) souls to keep MtG spinning interest, love & loyalty, instead of purely $
