I am 46 and have grown up) listened to hard rock/ metal all my life but over the past six months or so I have been listening to the Japanese bands, hanibie, band maid and especially lovebites and my mind has been blown away, the musicianship and especially the song writing, compositions are top notch, American metal needs to be put on notice lol better start practicing more cause all of the bands are crushing it🤟 and can't forget about the Monterey queens the warning 🤟
If you have the time and money and more important good traveling companions, Japan is maybe the #1 dream vacation country. More young and wild people like Thailand but for : music, food, martial arts, spiritual temples, anime, safety, fashion, nature.....Japan is a great choice.😊😊😊

Great band. Junna is one of the best power drummers in the world. She will be 28 next month. Not sure about the other members. This band is still a new discovery for me, but I have followed Junna for a few years now. Their song Hero Time is my favorite so far by this new Hagane lineup.
I discovered them a few weeks ago, when I also found Mellows, and it's all good! (As we discovered later, that Mellows song, Candy Making, wasn't live in the end but I'd still recommend their album as it's all very fine.) I don't know anything about Hagane - apart from that they're making great music - but was surprised to see Junna is with them, who was TH-cam famous for her amazing drum covers at a very young age and the videos of that are definitely worth watching for the skills on show and her joy in her performances.

Hagane are super underrated and deserve more recognition. Junna is a tour de force. Sakura is an absolutely world class guitarist. The other offshoot of Hagane is a band called Mana Diagram who are just as good. Mana Diagram have lead singer Uyu and lead guitarist Mayto formerly from Hagane.Try their song Glitter Wind. Both bands have a similar sound which is a bonus because now we have sort of 2 versions of Hagane version 1. They both have recent EP and record releases and both are really good. Unfortunately Mana Diagram cant seem to get the same recognition which is weird. Both bands should be on everyone's must see live list when travelling to Japan.

I was one of those listeners of your reaction channel who recommended HAGANE to you. Now you should definitely react to HAGANE's "Hero Time" too, it's even harder and faster than tengagoken (in spoken language the two words Tenka and Goken are phonetically bound). Some more information in addition to what in the comments are already mentioned: Junna is 28 years old and about 150 cm "tall" - and an extremely nice and almost shy person (I had the chance to talk to her when she was guest drummer for Fate Gear on their Europe tour last year). But put this small person behind a drum kit and you get an outbursting volcano. To my perspective she is at least (!) on the same level as Lovebite's Haruna. Sakura (now about 26 years) and Sayaka (27 years) are the "old" members of HAGANE. Sakura is one of the female guitar heroes of the younger generation (the other two famous ones are Hal-C - spelled Haruka - from Asterism and Lisa-X now in the band KOIAI). Sakura is impressing not just because of her guitar skills but too because of her composition skills - she wrote almost every HAGANE-song, and as far as I now the lyrics too. And she founded the band at the very young age of 19. So, a really impressing person. It is sad that Sayaka (bass) is sometimes a bit overlooked - she is a tremendous bass-player as you can see on her TH-cam channel. In this new line-up of HAGANE her bass together with Junnas drums are really a next level rhythm section. The singer Nagi is new in the business - but her "magical voice" speaks for itself. Maybe it takes a few repetitions in listening to realize how good she is! I think HAGANE has a huge potential to become world wide known - as Bandmaid, Lovebites, Nemophila and Hanabie. At least I wish them as much success as possible!
isn't it amazing how japanese girl groups have taken over the world ? this is easily my favorite new band since LOVEBITES hit the scene in 2016. drummer junna is a monster. she kicks so much ass that donkeys around the world have gone into hiding. wearing sunglasses. and there are so many more of these bands that are almost as good. i hope this trend never ends .i am old - 71 - and very glad i stuck around long enough to witness the japanese invasion. we had the british invasion in the early and mid 60's and the bands were great but nowhere near the technical ability possessed by these goddesses of metal.

The only thing I don't like about Hagane is the revolving members. I hope this lineup sticks! They are a Power Metal band. Junna was TRiDENT's first drummer and at that time they were known as Girls Rock band Kakumei. I think she is childhood friends with TRiDENT's bassist, Serina and their vocalist/guitarist, Asaka.
Its a bit confusing. There is only one guitarist, but you hear and see two. One with a white guitar and one with a blue. So, it is two takes with different guitars. Great band. Junna is one of the best power drummers in the world. She will be 28 next month. Not sure about the other members. This band is still a new discovery for me, but I have followed Junna for a few years now. Their song Hero Time is my favorite so far by this new Hagane lineup.

I discovered them a few weeks ago, when I also found Mellows, and it's all good! (As we discovered later, that Mellows song, Candy Making, wasn't live in the end but I'd still recommend their album as it's all very fine.) I don't know anything about Hagane - apart from that they're making great music - but was surprised to see Junna is with them, who was TH-cam famous for her amazing drum covers at a very young age and the videos of that are definitely worth watching for the skills on show and her joy in her performances.
Try "Hero Time", it's even faster than this one. 😵💫 Sakura Yoshida on guitar and Junna on drums are two of the best female musicians in Japan. I heard this song literally a hundred times and it still gives me goosebumps. 🤩

Hagane are super underrated and deserve more recognition. Junna is a tour de force. Sakura is an absolutely world class guitarist. I recommend their new song Hero Time, it’s even better than this one. Also the older songs (with previous singer, drummer and second guitarist) Black Cult and Super Villain are excellent

With the famous Junna on drums
The other offshoot of Hagane is a band called Mana Diagram who are just as good. Mana Diagram have lead singer Uyu and lead guitarist Mayto formerly from Hagane.Try their song Glitter Wind. Both bands have a similar sound which is a bonus because now we have sort of 2 versions of Hagane version 1. They both have recent EP and record releases and both are really good. Unfortunately Mana Diagram cant seem to get the same recognition which is weird. Both bands should be on everyone's must see live list when travelling to Japan.
My favorite from them is "Jump Again!".

with the song BLACKCULT. In 2023. Uyu Vocal, Mayto rythme guitare & Kanako Drums leave the Band for personal reasons. I was sad. In Spring 2024 Sakura ( fly v guitare & founder)& Sayaka ( bass) annonce the arrival of Junna on Drums ( she's also support Drums of FATE GEAR) and NAGI on Vocal ( for Nagi i was skeptical, she was no expérience. When i see this MV . I had no more fear). Junna was in her highschool years in GIRLS ROCK BAND KAKUMEI a band know as TRIDENT ( with Asaka vocal+ guitare & Serina Bass+ backing vocal). Trident replace Junna with Nagisa on Drums.

I was one of those listeners of your reaction channel who recommended HAGANE to you. Now you should definitely react to HAGANE's "Hero Time" too, it's even harder and faster than tengagoken (in spoken language the two words Tenka and Goken are phonetically bound).
Some more information in addition to what in the comments are already mentioned: Junna is 28 years old and about 150 cm "tall" - and an extremely nice and almost shy person (I had the chance to talk to her when she was guest drummer for Fate Gear on their Europe tour last year). But put this small person behind a drum kit and you get an outbursting volcano. To my perspective she is at least (!) on the same level as Lovebite's Haruna. Sakura (now about 26 years) and Sayaka (27 years) are the "old" members of HAGANE. Sakura is one of the female guitar heroes of the younger generation (the other two famous ones are Hal-C - spelled Haruka - from Asterism and Lisa-X now in the band KOIAI). Sakura is impressing not just because of her guitar skills but too because of her composition skills - she wrote almost every HAGANE-song, and as far as I now the lyrics too. And she founded the band at the very young age of 19. So, a really impressing person. It is sad that Sayaka (bass) is sometimes a bit overlooked - she is a tremendous bass-player as you can see on her TH-cam channel. In this new line-up of HAGANE her bass together with Junnas drums are really a next level rhythm section. The singer Nagi is new in the business - but her "magical voice" speaks for itself. Maybe it takes a few repetitions in listening to realize how good she is! I think HAGANE has a huge potential to become world wide known - as Bandmaid, Lovebites, Nemophila and Hanabie. At least I wish them as much success as possible!

isn't it amazing how japanese girl groups have taken over the world ? this is easily my favorite new band since LOVEBITES hit the scene in 2016. drummer junna is a monster. she kicks so much ass that donkeys around the world have gone into hiding. wearing sunglasses. and there are so many more of these bands that are almost as good. i hope this trend never ends .i am old - 71 - and very glad i stuck around long enough to witness the japanese invasion. we had the british invasion in the early and mid 60's and the bands were great but nowhere near the technical ability possessed by these goddesses of metal.

Thanks for your reaction it's always fun to watch, Hagane was formed in 2018. This year they've got a new line with two new members Nagi- the vocalist ( never sung metal before) and the phenomenon Junna the drummer ( she got own channel you can check some of her covers especially Dragon force song through the fire and flames ) . So please check the other song Hero time. I think there was a video live version. I'm already curious to see your reaction. By the way Lovebites released the new live video Soldier stand solitarily from the new upcoming DVD concert, the Haruna speed on drums is out of this world ( some reactor mentioned is 195 BPM) and it's going for 5 minutes, the song is around 6 minutes. If you'd like to react to the old formation of HAGANE, 'SuperVillan' and 'Black Cult' are highly recommended. This new formation has another MV that has just been released called 'Hero Time', I think that song is crazier than 'Tengagoken' here.
Another band I'd like to suggest is STMLT (Stimulate/Stemirates). They're a heavy rock/metal band, the vibe is way different from this band, but they're awesome too. The only thing I don't like about Hagane is the revolving members. I hope this lineup sticks! They are a Power Metal band.
Junna was TRiDENT's first drummer and at that time they were known as Girls Rock band Kakumei. I think she is childhood friends with TRiDENT's bassist, Serina and their vocalist/guitarist, Asaka.

Its a bit confusing. There is only one guitarist, but you hear and see two. One with a white guitar and one with a blue. So, it is two takes with different guitars.
