    Gosh I didn’t know IUD’s were still a thing. I had one many, many…many years ago, and it was horrible. I needed to have an “aggressive attempt” to have it removed. It hurt going in, and it hurt worse coming out.

    Are your dryers properly vented? They can dump gallons of water into a space if they are not vented correctly or if the vent is obstructed. Jw

    Good call. They don't prevent an egg from being fertilized, just implantation and can damage uterine lining

      Continual miscarriages.

    • @grayceemaldonado5040
      @grayceemaldonado5040 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@smithface8791 I believe a miscarriage would mean it would have to implant. If an IUD prevents implantation (which I think different ones go about pregnancy prevention differently depending on if it is hormonal or non-hormonal), this is preventing pregnancy and therefore miscarriage. You can't be pregnant without some type of implantation (whether in the uterus or, unfortunately, in the fallopian tube which would mean an ectopic pregnancy). Also, the IUD could only damage the uterine lining if it slips through the cervix, where it is supposed to sit and remain, and into the uterus. Damage does happen, but is a fairly rare complication when the IUD doesn't stay where it is meant to! But no birth control comes without risk, and I understand the apprehension :) I do wish that there was a risk-free option.

      Stomach or abdomen? Either way, that would mean whoever did the insertion, perforated your uterus for it to have been other than inside your uterus. Had that been me, I would have sudden come into some significant cash with the help of a lawyer.

    I don’t understand why they don’t numb you with lidocaine. The pinch of the lidocaine is so minor. I had lidocaine injected when they removed a growth from my endometrial lining in 2005 and i had to search for a doctor who would do pain injection first. It is so wrong that they don’t offer numbing and pain medication for female procedures.

    I had one put in and I was having a great deal of pain several months later, so I went in to have it removed... that was a disaster, so we left it in and a year later it came out virtually attached to my daughter I am serious, not joking. i have never had another one since, on a positive note it didn't prevent pregnancy but that ended up being a blessing as i would not trade my daughter back in for anything.. It is so disgraceful that the GOP wants Politicians involved in our citizen's Family Planning, the same party that is against universal health care, expanded low cost daycare, kids school lunch programs, and even the Child Tax Credit... They must figure we can all magically live on love with broods of children, the more the merrier.

      @@alanunderwoodsr8622 Sir... in no manner was I trying to be disrespectful of this lovely couple. Sadly politics do figure into a situation like this and that is reality. i simply feel that it is wrong for anyone to have to travel out of State when it is not necessitated by a lack of skilled Doctors in their own area. How on earth it should be a Politicians' decision rather than the woman or couple's decision alongside her Physician is what becomes an issue. That said, i would certainly defend the rights of a woman who chooses not to have an implant of a IUD or Tubal Ligation etc. This is about Adult's being capable of making their own medical choices.
