After spending the last 3 decades in Seattle and the Puget Sound area in Washington, we may be returning back to MI, out towards Novi/Brighton because real estate prices are so much more affordable and the quality of life is overall better in our view. Very helpful video. Thanks for posting.
Originally from Kalamazoo and moved near Novi a year and a half ago. My wife and I love this side of the state but the traffic is horrible. Commerce, Novi and the surrounding area traffic sucks but I still like it here. Crazy when you drive through rich and poor neighborhoods and see the wealth gap. It’s astounding here
Twenty years ago it was an apartheid shithole where you could find post-apocalyptic level destitution and widespread poverty just a short drive away from some of the most expensive properties in the U.S. A truly stark example of America's egregious wealth gap brought to life.
Metro Detroit is not Ann Arbor. It’s not any of that whatsoever. You literally have to drive like 30-40 minutes to go that way Metro Detroit is like Dearborn Dearborn Heights Madison Hazel Park Oak Park Roseville Harperwoods 5-10 minute drive the suburban trying it😂😂

Welcome to eastside. I lived in Kalamazoo for 7 years!
Any advice on home rentals in Detroit? Thx
There's tons of them. Just depends on the area and budget your going for.
Is this content about the comparison of Ann Arbor and suburbs with Detroit area? Or with Michigan?
I'm confused.
It's about Moving to Metro Detroit Michigan and common questions folks might have before moving.
