Sorry, I also noticed you are using a #3 zipper instead of the #4.5 zippers her patterns call for. Do you think the #3 works better or do you just like them better? I am always up for other ways to do things so I was curious.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I too love ByAnnie patterns. I have several. Her additional helpful videos are great. I noticed a couple things in this video though. At 7.48, when it shows the mesh pinned to the fabric and then you turn the corner over, the quilted fabric pc is actually upside down but I am sure you caught that before you sewed it. I was wondering about the seam binding pc. Annie's patterns show you to attach it to the zipper side first, then fold it over and attach it as to not create additional bulk by bending the zipper back onto itself. I notice you didn't do it this way. You attached it to the other side first. Do you find it easier that way?
Great job as usual, but shouldn’t the elastic be shorter than the mesh? So that it gathers? So larger piece of mesh to allow for taut elastic that will stretch to all things to go into the pocket, but will then “gather up” so that things don’t fall out? Guess I’ll figure it out when I get the house unpacked and make mine. 😉
If you read the info on the FOE (fold-over elastic) it actually says to press it in half with just a warm iron before you cut the length you want because this will cause it to pull back in length, then you cut the length you need, attach it to your mesh or whatever, then when you put something in the pocket it will stretch and retract perfectly.
Good Looking out! She didn't show every dimension that you would need to construct the bag, so you would still need to purchase the pattern. Since we don't create start to finish tutorials ourselves, we are happy to see others teaching our patterns in this way. No worries!
Love this tutorial, you made the instructions very clear, I can't wait to make this pattern. Thank you.
Just followed! Thank you for this tutorial. It was excellent.
Love Love Love Love! Great tutorial . I especially LOOVVEEDDD this month's box.
Great teaching style! I've got the By Annie Travel Duffle 2.0 pattern I need to do. Cutting it out is the scary part!

Cracking up at the beginning. How you used the case as a "mouth" and moved it as you spoke! Haha.

Do you think it could be made with two shorter zippers that meet in the middle? Just wondering.
Wow. Really interesting. Tutorial was excellent.
Do you have to do quilting? The fabric I want to use would ruined if I put all those lines through it. How would it still hold together?
Awesome
Would have been nice if some of the questions were answered. Just a suggestion ☺️
Should you be showing all of Annie's instructions? I think she frowns on that.

👍👍👍😳😳😳👏👏👏😘😘😘😊😊😊
Sew cute
Love the tutorial, one suggestion: don't film so close, It doesn't give enough overview
Oh, good grief, yes. Filmed WAY too close for much of it.
