- Big truck accident near my workplace. I was asked to remove the material from the truck and the cars so that traffic could resume.
Luckily, all the people involved in it were ok.

You are a hero for the people in your town. In USA it takes forever to clear a big accident. They would never ask a backhoe operator to clear an accident, as they have certain restrictions and protocol that they follow(somewhat stupid in my opinion). If you have a backhoe that can handle load, then improvise to clear the accident, which you did. Very impressive skill to get the backhoe off the truck trailer. The danger was an inexperienced operator would have tipped the backhoe on its side and into oncoming traffic.

Besides experience, what would say an operator needs to pull off that maneuver off the trucks tractor trailer? Being calm, confidence and knowing what your backhoe is capable of doing?
Surely it would of been easier to move the low loader forward !

driver knows his machine. but why not just back up the lowloader. in the first place.

Because the wrecker that was used to lift the neck was parked in the junction not blocking the traffic.
Looks as though all very well planned out recovery job to me!wrecker would have to reposition,use straps,wires etc.so much easier with JCB.Worked as a team with as little disruption to traffic as possible.all in Al a good job and we'll executed.👍

Why do you even need to drive on the trailer? line up the damaged trailer, back the other one up to it, push it on with the loader. You did back it up tighter with the ramps down, so 2 meters or 5 meters? what difference does it make.
Amd way easier to unload at the other end

Un Komatsu wb97 din 2001 cred ca la jcb sunt mai lungi calele! Eu de facem manevra asta cu al meu îl puneam pe o parte 😂 brațul e mai greu din ce știu eu fata de jcb te salut
Să știi că sunt destul de stabile. Trebuie doar să înveți unde e punctul critic de a se răsturna.. ✌😊

The first move was an unnecessary show. If you hadn’t pulled it up there, they could still have pushed the trailer... After that, was a tipical romanian move: Load as many vehicles as possible on the trailer. Even if it is illegal, even if it is forbidden! Romanian car carriers are coming to us in this style.
Why didnt they just pull the low loader forward and drive the 3cx off ??????????

Because he had to be left in front of the truck recovery ,which was on the sidewalk.
If you watch the video carefully you will see that at some point We used the Recovery truck .
