    The Lift was definitely the best bow of 2024 and this coming from someone who just bought their 3rd Bowtech. The only knock on it is the underwhelming speeds compared to what they advertised. My SR350 has comparable/faster speed with my setup at 70#'s than it has at 80#'s.
    It is a great all around bow, shot it multiple times, and arguably the best bow Mathews has ever put out. It also cements my opinion that aluminum is superior to carbon for compound bows.
    Appreciate the video and best of luck this year with it.

      Thanks Shey! Yeah I was skeptical at first and this is coming from a guy that used to actively say “Mathews just has a great marketing team..” this is the best bow I have ever owned. There are faster bows, there are smoother drawing bows, there are slightly lighter bows, there are bows with better grips, less vibration… but no bow I have shot balances all of this as well as the LIFT has. Let’s hope other companies have some other revolutionary features in next years bows!

    I am a speed guy. Also I’m waiting on a lift 33. It looks like I’m going to be disappointed 😂. Currently I shoot a 80# PSE omen I’m getting 320fps with a 460gr arrow at 29” draw. All jokes aside I can’t wait for the lift 33. I just hope I don’t put it up on the chopping block too quick. I seem to do that with every Mathew’s I have owned. 😂😂😂

      I think you’ll be good man. It’s a great shooting accurate and light bow that doesn’t break the bank compared to some of these carbon bows out there! It is still faster than several of the carbon bows too. I don’t regret it at all and it’s plenty fast for my needs!

    I was surprised...at 80lbs..Thought it would be faster. I have seen better speeds with the PSE Mach 30 @ 70lbs

    • @ApexPredatorOutdoors
      @ApexPredatorOutdoors  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yeah me too. I’m missing out on a bit from advertised speed tests due to being 29” instead of 30” in draw, but these speeds are nothing to shake a finger at. 450 grains (I feel is the perfect hunting arrow) that fast is still good. If PSE had better grips or replaceable ones I’d love to shoot their bows. Grip takes a high precedence in my book, very important!

      @TheNewBowunter awesome man! I tried the Mach 34 and it was a great bow! I prefer the longer axle to axle bows. I just came from the Prime Inline 5 at 35” and now went back down to 33. The string angle on the short bows is an issue for me personally.

    Thought adult arrows started at 650.
    Im shooting 640, 29.5 73#
    Need to find a chrono. But at the same time. Ive never heard a deer say anything about the speed of my bow.

    • @ApexPredatorOutdoors
      @ApexPredatorOutdoors  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’ve heard that dude say 500+ is an adult arrow. I’ve had a deer duck a 420 grain arrow from a 72 lb bow here in Texas, our deer in central Texas are fast and small like speed goats though.

      @icr4bsi 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I've shot 100 grain inserts and 200 grains up front for over 20 years. I just like to stir the pot.

    • @ApexPredatorOutdoors
      @ApexPredatorOutdoors  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@icr4bsi I did too! watch my hog hunt video - I missed a hog at 25 yards with the 580 grain arrows because I was off a couple of yards on my sight tape. If I start hunting water buffalo I’ll get them back out! 😝 These 470 grain arrows pack just as good of a punch and are going significantly faster. I did love the Heavy arrows but hate trying to do all of the mental math to make the yardages work. Maybe I just need a bow that actually hits 340 fps. 😂

    • @icr4bsi
      @icr4bsi 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you go back heavy just for kicks and giggles, drop the slider all together. Just my opinion. I use the B3 exact hunter model on my 33.
      If I'm shooting foam. I would literally never shoot at a living animal this far with this slow of a stick. Couldn't pay me to. But you can drop well into 50 with the 4 pin.
      That being said. There's A LOT of single pin/multi pin slider on today's market that are hard to not go grab right now for a lot of us older table hunters to be honest with the progression of bows in my life. You can achieve a lot with dramatically less then you could get away with years ago.

    • @ApexPredatorOutdoors
      @ApexPredatorOutdoors  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @user-we7dy1iz5v Yeah I have shot 3 pin, 4 pin, and even 7 pin sights, not a fan personally. I did ok but I have been massively more accurate with a two pin slider. Personal preference honest. I value a clear sight picture and yard to yard accuracy. Using a 470 grain arrow I can theoretically punch through anything with an 80 pound bow and I am way more accurate. I started my journey pretty light with a 3 pin, then 4 pin, I have been tinkering most of the year for 10 years and just fell here because it works good for me. I will always stand by the idea that if you are accurate and dropping them then keep that up and don’t change unless you just want to!!!

      Nice. The expedite was a great bow. It was a very aggressive draw but overall great shooter and FAST. It was heavy thought at almost 5 lbs bare bow!

    Still looking for a consumer showing the 343 fps they advertise , you shot 33" lift 80# 29" DL , 408 gr arrow and topped 310 ..... So what gets the 348 ??? come on mathews

    your chrono is not showing what the garmin shows even at 29 inches my v3x 29 is faster then that my buddies lift is also much faster then yours same specs well he has the 29.5 but another buddy has your bow at 75 pounds 29 inch and gets those speeds

    • @ApexPredatorOutdoors
      @ApexPredatorOutdoors  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      There very well could be some variance. I believe the garmin and the Prochrono use different methods of calculating speed. The faster one is not always the right one though! Post your speeds here so others can see a comparison, and maybe consider becoming a member so I can justify buying the $600 chrono!! 😂
