Just a couple of thoughts of what you might have been able to add if there was more time for the 10 minute challenge
1) a roof not just for the zombies but because people can jump down from the cliff above
2) make cliff defenses (at the top of the cliff)
3) have a button after the one that releases the zombies that opens a door to skeletons because they can shoot without needing to go outside which would end up lighting them on fire.

@@TheShaKuh they are for potions and zombies, since the potions are lingering it doesn't matter of the zombies spawn after its splashed, also, if the dispensers don't spawn zombies and only for potions, then after the first attack the zombies will no longer be there and it will be only a 1 use house..

Just put obsidian behind the walls and a trap drop down door infront of the main door, lol. Maybe a secret key so if the door opens without it, it activates a trap.

Mumbo... zombies are undead mobs. Undead mobs take reverse potion effects, so strength and speed actually give them weakness and slowness.
Instead of a roof for the zombies, try to use fire resistance, so they will still light stuff on fire but they won't take damage from the fire itself :)
The 10 second build was valid. It started in around 0:58 and ended at 1:08.

1:01 the magic of editing worked on your favor Mumbo, no signs can be done in less then 0.2 seconds. Plus the timer directly jumped up to 18 seconds directly. IT'S ALL MAGIC
I know this comment is a year old, but:
Couple things to note:
You can place signs with prewritten text using NBT data.
The timer did not cut when he placed the sign.
The timer for the that build was at 2x speed for some reason, the build starts at 0:58 and ends at 1:08 (total of 10 seconds) with zero cuts (I watched the video closely a few times, also see pinned comment)

11:00 or you could’ve put fire resistance on the zombies, seeing as you’re already decking them out with potions. They’d still burn, but won’t take damage, which would still give the Fire Aspect-like effect.

I couldn't help but notice a tiny little problem with the 10 second house: you'll respawn outside of it. When you respawn, the game tests for available space in all blocks (including diagonals) around the bed head first. Since your back wall is actually only one block large, it leaves both diagonal sides around the bed head available, and that's where you'll respawn
(on a side note, buttons are considered non-solid, so you can respawn on a block with a button in the other two houses)
