I think what happened to KaB was because he forcibly brought Betrayer and Wonderful Idea from a parallel timeline before phase 1, thus making Karmic Retribution's consequences on his body more severe
Kab is using KR to heal himself, it’s supposed help not hurt him
Yh, KR healed KaB, but the consequence of avoiding death by using KR was that crack on his skull, thats what I meant, and that crack got wider because he used more KR to connect 2 timelines before The fight.
