The Kilfenora Slides

This is a single release of Kane O'Rourkes new album 'Introducing Ceol-tec'
Kane was heavily influenced and inspired by the Kilfenora Ceili Band in his youth. This is a set of slides they played on an album from the 70s, recreated by Kane, with the help from London trance producer 'Prem DJ' on the decks, mix, programings and influence. James Blennerhassett on bass, Mark Connyard on Banjo and Micheál Ó Domhnaill on Accordion
Mark and Micheál were unavailable to film this day sadly, but thankfully, the amazing Paddy Treacy was available to act out the banjo roll
Kane plays Whistle, Fiddle, Bouzouki, Guitar, and keyboards on this track
The video is filmed in Kanes' father's home town 'Carrick-on-Shannon' Co Leitrim. The venue for shoot was 'Mchughs Bar', who kindly funded the video that was produced by Maurice Supple
