    That start/stop filter is a must have for anyone using a keyboard controller connected to a synth with its own sequencer. Thanks for addressing this fundamental issue.

      I forgot to mention that using "port level filtering" (next video) is even a better way to eliminate this issue for multiple routings with just one filter.

    how does this interact with audio/midi set up in MacOS when patched to the computer? does it bypass or something? because, for example, no devices will show up in Logic unless they exist in audio midi set up.

      It will show up in Audio/MIDI setup like any other class compliant MIDI interface, except it will show 12 MIDI ports. No drivers required.
