Boy, I never understand any explanations in any other vids, because they where so fast explained and no one rly states the names of the so far known techniques. Didn't even know I was using them all the years lol. Thank You! I'm really looking forward for the next Tutorial! Keep it Up, Guys! 👏👏
Bro. Bless your soul. I’m a complete master at ctr and can’t wait till nitro fueled comes out. Gotta recommend everyone to watch this video so that the online and multiplayer is even more chaotic and fun than ever!
Finally someone who explains this clearly! I’ve been practicing by beating the Oxide ghosts and the platinum relic times over and over. Thanks for the informative and clear video!
Hundreds of thousands of coming CTR:NF players should watch this. That is, those who never played the original. Still nice to actually see it all explained like this. nice video!
See the thing I love is that once you become aware of these mechanics if you already played the game, it's not hard to incorporate them. It's just learning optimum race lines and shortcuts.
Personally for me, i been playing ctr since it was released, i throughly enjoy watching vids like these and trying to improve, but taking a step back from competitive racing, gotta love at 1:38 hearing crash rapidly go "AWEE!" made me laugh so hard
Saffi fire can be combined with USF meaning you can perma USF around a track. I saw a guy using Penta on N. Gin labs to get saffi fire in less than a lap meaning saffi fire is actually viable to race with. That stage has a super turbo pad that comes up right after you achieve saffi fire. Just go on that and enjoy the rest of the the track with permanent USF.
No because if you touch a normal pad you lose USF, and the blue tunnel is a normal pad :/. Btw you lose USF when you get a turbo from a slide or from a jump
Where does the terminology come from? Turbo pads and all that regulsr stuff are part of the game, but where do the terms "sacred fire", "ultimate sacred fire" and "saffi (what does this even mean) fire" come from? I've been seeing these terms since forever and I'm interested as to how they came about.
All theses techs has been found by players. Sacred fire was the first to be discovered, and he called it " sacred fire " because this tech is maybe the most important in the game, it's super easy to beat oxide's time only with it. I dont remenber what does SAFFI means exactly ( i will find it and answer to you asap ) but it's something like " Fire for infinite time ", it has been discovered by a french long time ago, saffi fire is gained with many many turbo to get a strong reserve, but in fact the reserve value can overflow if you reach the maximum and it becomes negative. With a reserve "negative" you have an infinite reserve so you can stop doing turbo and keep it. USF is a special trick, and also the best speed in the game, it's possible only in few tracks because of super turbo pads. I dont remenber how it has been discovered. But you should join and ask in the facebook page called " cloaca di ctr ", the name is in italian because it was made by them and all best players join the same page. I will be more accurate in next video of this guide, i think i could continue it now ( sorry for my english )
I hope it is said in next video but notice, that blue jump is best for sure if you have USF, otherwise it kills your whole reverses with that combination
Love the vid man wooooh keep it up! 😍👏 before any news about nitrofueled I was always searching for vids like these so now Im glad there are. Also, play with me? Nitrofueled? Discord? 😯
To clarify. We will make more. We both got a bit busy with new jobs etc after making this but the project is not canceled! I am the writer and nyx makes the graphics /game play parts.
Awesome, looking forward to it. It is getting harder for me to improve. My main problems are with froggy and reserves so especially looking forward to those if you decide to make :D. I often lose USF very fast even thought i have been powersliding whole lap which i don't understand when comparing to other videos :) So cool that you guys are doing these videos
They should really add a tutorial for the reserves mechanic in Nitro Fueled. In all my time playing I only thought it was possible to only get to the speed of a yellow fire until watching speed runners but even watching them is kinda pointless cause the original game doesn’t guide the player well into the reserves system and only teaches the very basic level of it which won’t be useful at all for online competition. Hopefully they add a tutorial for more advanced methods of the reserves mechanic in the game.
Haha, woops. Just 100% the game and didn't even know about power sliding. I just thought it was a frame perfect slide and that I was bad. Who knew I had to tap the other button. Well know the game just got a whole lot easier. Like trivial.
@@ctrreborn5976 I've only seen footage from less experienced players so I didn't know about it. Thanks for telling me. It's a shame they took it from the game, but I'm still excited for the game.
