Mr Sardinas and the bassist Levell Price were customers of mine at the steakhouse after their show at Boulder Station in Henderson 2016. They were awesome guests, friendly, funny, and courteous. And they were incredible tippers to boot! I missed the show (working), but love seeing their recorded shows like this. Sorry to read that Mr. Price has passed away. I hope Eric Sardinas makes his way back to Vegas-Henderson soon. Would love to catch his show.
Now thats some impressive lead playin - on a "resophonic" axe no less...never seen anyone play one like this...WOW ... and the rest of the band is just flat out "kickin". From my comments, you can tell, this is my first time hearing Eric Sardinas & Big Motor. They kick it ~!!!
The black reso is an old washburn, and i believe the other one he plays is an old national or dobro but not sure. He drilled the pickups into them himself. Awesome sounds. Washburn at one point made an Eric Sardinas signature guitar for a bit but i dont think they are being made anymore.
it's good to see good ole rock n roll is still alive with all the crap called music, i just found this and don't know how but haven't left for hrs, can someone tell me what model guitar he plays it wouldn't surprise me if it was custom made thanks
Almost hit pause and looked for other tunes, but stayed my hand for a moment, ended up watching the rest. Reason? That "humming" part, I hear someone go into that and I pause quick so I ain't gotta hear that squeeling crap that Johnny Winter, and the singers in Deep Purple and Uriah Heep do. Kinda like a cross between a high-pitched screeching and wailing and yelling coming from a woman. But he hummed part of the melody, didn't overdo it, and he's pretty good, so I reckon I'll listen to a couple more, see if I got new music for my playlists. Don't look like he's all ate up with himself (yet...remains to be seen) like Vai, Van Halen, and many others. So, I give a thumbs up (already long time subscriber) and I'll be back, unless I get AMNESIA and forget, but that's COOL, it usually doesn't last long... -David, a.k.a. the ConnMan.
Okay Cool, don't take my earlier comment about Mister Winter personal. He's alright, and I added Uriah Heep and Deep Purple to that to illustrate what I meant, but I've been listening to those bands since I was 15 or so. Just can't handle that nasty high pitched whiny noise. And I heard the worst part isn't having to shove a lemon drop up their ass to get those high notes, it's trying to find somebody to pluck that lemon drop out when they're done.
