You may want to mention that you can recover a missed ball sometimes by just pressing your finger on it as it rolls on the ground. Obviously a slow throw would give you more reaction time to recatch the pokeball.

Should mention on the Eevee trick that it only works if it your first time evolving to that specific evolution, ie. once you get a Flareon, you can't use this trick to evolve another Flareon.
Tip: wait with your poke ball throw until the white icon on the top left of the screen has disappeared. This should minimize the chances of obtaining freezing pokeballs. @ 5:30.
When your pokeball freezes there's a trick. 1. Close your app completely. 2. Put your phone on airplane mode till the airplane appears at the top. 3. Once airplane mode appears take it off. 4. Log into the app again and the Pokemon you were trying to catch is supposed to be there.

It just assumes that your last throw (even if it broke out!) was successful as a way of making up for the game crashing mid-encounter. (Please confirm if you've noticed this as well. After +10 crashes mid-encounter with at least 1 pokeball land on the pokemon, and all of them being delivered to my inventory along with recording as having been caught in my journal, it seems pretty conclusive to me. But I would appreciate input from other players on the matter.)
