Hello, I'm happy to find you! I'm a beginner with jewelry making, and you seem like just a delightful lady! I love all your little funny things you say. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! ❤
GREAT AS ALWAYS MS JEM! I THOUGHT this wad going to be like a small cotter pin [spl?] chain, & it KIND OF IS, but only in the process.... This size, angle and closed portion make it totally different! & I LOVE THIS! Aloha!💜🤙🥰💜
Thanks for the tutorial and chuckle. You can try leading your donkey with 14g. It works if it is not too stubborn , ha ha FYI The piece you use to make the chain is called a cotter pin (here in the US). You can find them in a tool box. Not the same metal but same shape.
Pahaha, I do love a Donkey 💜 I'll remember to bring 14g for Donkey leading ;-) ... well, I'd never heard of cotter pin chain until today and now I know that it's named for a tool! Thanks so much for watching xxx
Just done a Google ... in the UK, a cotter pin is known as a Split Pin and as a former Landrover owner, I have both seen and.used a multitude of these things in mechanical works (they hold together more things than ought to be legal on a classic series Landrover hahaha) xxx
@@JemHawkes LOL, I have actually used one but I can't remember what I did with it. I will remember to use the "cotter-pin" chain in my jewelry journey, thanks to you.
I needed this so bad. This is going to be my go to when I need a nice chain. Also, I wonder if a bead threaded into the hole of the chain would be a good idea?
Thank you very much sweetheart. Yes, you can add a bead, you'd need at least 0.5mm/24g buuuuuut it can affect the fluidity of chain movement. Thank you ever so much for watching xxx

@@JemHawkes It's not a tool but it is hardware
So many things that are used 'as' tools hahaha ...
