I'm so happy Thomas Jane respected the character that much he walked away ( wish more actors would do that). It's also quite a shame because the punisher was one of the better comic book movies which comic book movies tend to not do so hot.
Tom is a really solid actor & good guy, always happy to watch him. The Punisher ,The Mist, Stander, Deep Blue Sea, Boogie Nights, 1922, Dreamcatcher ..He’s excellent in all he does really.

But I did tell him I actually told lots of people to have him play ROYCE for PREDATORS. Craziest thing was after watching DEEP BLUE SEA...I actually wanted Renny Harlin (or Bill Duke) to direct MY version of ALIEN VS PREDATOR.

Your episode on the expanse was one of the best. Based off the mass effect games. Fucking mad respect for you. All of the awsome projects you have been apart of.
He’s still the longest running Punisher out of the 5 Actors (2004 Film, The 2005 Game & Dirty Laundry). and if only the Second film was greenlit, I’d like to see him go against Bushwacker. and I’m sure he would be in Deadpool & Wolverine tbh. If only…
Maybe he could be in Blade 4 with Wesley Snipes along with Nicholas Cage’s ghost rider and Blade 4’s story can be based on the nightstalkers with all three of these characters. Morbius, Barracuda, and Colin Farrell’s Bullseye can be the villains.
Punisher is a "toxicly masculine" film. Woke Hollywood would never put out a film with an aggressive straight white male lead. Re-write it with a black lesbian punisher and you'll get the go ahead.

That first Punisher movie was gooood. Always liked Mr. Jane's work.
The Punisher was a great movie and Thomas Jane was an excellent Frank Castle. The late Ray Stevenson was also good.

Punisher 2 script is good too short should have been 200 pages 96 pages i.e minutes, Walter Hill as a producer with Hensleigh as a writer.
