What's the difference between yours and the #233 apv model? I read somewhere the legs get sand in them and do not come apart to clean them out. In case we use this in a stream or lake. Any advice or tips appreciated. I'm looking for a non ball head tripod that will hold my Celestron Ultima 80 spotting scope rock solid firm so the wind won't jiggle the scope or my focusing won't allow the scope any movement whatsoever. Any thoughts, ideas, tips or advice appreciated. Thank you
Is the pan smooth from stationary, when panning very slowly? It’s difficult to find a 3 way head with really smooth panning...searching. Thanks, great video
I dont believe it David... ive just bought a few weeks back the baby brother of this tripod the - Vanguard Veo 2 204AB Tripod which is the light weight travel version .... I like it.. so a big thumbs up for vanguard..!

Is this actually a fluid head or it just works with friction when tightened?
From memory it was friction.
