Why are the recent hasbro figures SO BAD. I HATE the newer hasbro figures. They look WORSE than the original Kenner figures! The original The Clone Wars figures had so much articulation, so much detail, why are they so bad nowadays.
Of course they still design them and produce them but current Star Wars figures feels like a downgrade from the previous Star Wars Action Figure (Saga Legends line, continuation of Vintage Collection, Clone Wars line, Revenge of the sith line) What happened?
I've got a lightsaber that not only fits into the hilt, but pops up at the press of a button, lights up, makes ambient noise, and makes noises when hit. Pretty sturdy too. It was between either 5 or 15 bucks. I check the shelves at stores and the most common ones are the crappy $7 ones that have no light or sound or spring power or sturdiness. And when I do find the newer lightsabers most like my old one, they're 10-20 dollar ones that have shorter blades, longer hilts, and no spring action or hiding the blade away completely in the hilt. Like how does quality drop but price go up? I genuinely don't understand
Wow, that commander fox's and clone pilot paint apps are awful!!! Also that Cody, geez did Hasbro forget to paint the other half of the figure (the back). And to all who are hating on my boy Jc's list, chill out! I completely 100% understand people disagreeing on other peeps lists(mainly Jcc2224's) but seriously take into consideration the youtuber's feelings and opinions! Imagine if you said you didn't like McDonalds and you gently explained your distaste and disliking of the products(in this case their food), I slam you down with tons of negative harsh rhetoric that is completely unnecessary. RESPECT THE MAN'S OPINION, you have ones as well!!! If you wish to share your thoughts you can just basically say you think those figures he dislikes you think are okay, or you love them, hate them, or feel the same way. But there is a difference between saying you simply disagree in a humanely and civil manner, and saying you hate them and the entire list! Go the first route, which is more positive, civil, and respectful.... I also think Jcc2224 didn't even really harshly bash the figures, he simply shared his disliking towards them......

It's not that simple. As a collector of 3.75" Clone Troopers with the ultimate goal of owning EVERY Clone produced in the scale, I'm gunna end up with the great figures and the not-so-great figures.
I liked getting the Bodie Taylor head on some of the Fett Clones. Made for age variation which was a real thing as a lot of Clones were being rushed through training to get on the lines. I often see you commenting on JTA and now I've found your TH-cam channel. Subscribed.
I have a variant of the TVC 212th clone trooper with eyes that are painted white eyes with black pupils? Is it me or did I get a good figure? Or a 212th trooper good repaint of the 212th clone.

A lot of my complaints were designs of the figures. Only one complaint was the poor paint app quality. Hasbro designers are to blame, not Chinese kids.
i hate the new standard ones because i bought a FO stormtrooper + armor thingy and you can't move the joints. Soon enough i looked at the others and they were jointless.

+Roberto Santiago I gotta disagree there. Highly articulated figures in TVC almost always had perfect paint apps. In 5POA, I've seen REALLY bad things. Thorn is a modern highly articulated figure, anymore almost every Star Wars product suffers from bad paint aps either all the time, or every so often.

So @Jcc2224 do you agree that the (probably best) current star wars action figure series is the black series? What's your opinion on it? I think it is easily equal to the old series, if not even better, but that is just my opinion!
I can't agree because I subjectively dislike the Black Series. I don't like Star Wars at the 6" scale. 6" figures are meant to be played with and posed around, and a vast majority of Star Wars characters, in my opinion, don't lend themselves well to the 6" scale. Main heroes don't get into dynamic poses, and it's more fun to mass smaller trooper armies than getting tons in 6". I stopped collecting Black Series besides the clones. I think the Vintage Collection is the best right now, despite how limited the new figure releases are.
Someone said in a forum that the 41st elite corps landing platform clone trooper is a "quarter way" shiny, meaning you could say their rookies without the full paintjob, the ones with full paint apps are veterans, just a little world building theory
I know I'm late here, but personally I would put the vintage collection phase 1 basic clone on my own list (I believe they also reused the body since then but I've never had any of them other than the basic white) just my opinion, but I don't like the way Hasbro does ball hinged hips cause you always have to turn the thigh piece sideways to have him sit and it just feels awkward to work with me. And the legs always seemed too long to me, the heads too small, he doesn't fit in well with older clone troopers, and by how skinny he is it's hard to believe anyone could actually be in that armor.

I don’t understand why hasbro never used the gi Joe 25th anniversary articulation style, especially the legs where we got ball jointed hips, double jointed knees, something hasbro should’ve used in all of their toy lines like Star Wars.
I hate the ones they sell in the two packs in the old RoTS Darth Vader packaging, theyre basically all the commander Cody ones with the level of articulation of the old Kenner ones from ‘78
JTB Films i think fox,pilot,and the white with gray stripe is okay. Commander thorn paint job is a little bit sloopy but his head is the most normal because it not too big like most of them, boos and cody is has decent paint but terrible articulation, can you explain why you think other three just scream terrible? No hate, just i want to know why i think it's okay but many people hated it
The clone pilot is good, but the even on mine the visor is badly painted and his armor IS INFUSED WITH PINK LIKE SOMEBODY TIPPED A BUCKET OF PINK PAINT INTO THE PLASTIC BEFORE IT WAS MOLDED. They're all like that, too.
Hazbro figures have basically looped back to the 70s Kenner figures. How long until they have the slide out lightsaber under the sleeve again? They already have the batshit crazy jet packs and rocket launchers made up for the figure.
5:13 was the only good one that was an actual clone in revenge of the sith that was briefly shown when the venator was landed on corusant he was standing next to a wookie yet this part might have been a deleted scene of the remastered revenge of the sith

@Jcc #3 was def. a factory error. Sadly you got the faulty version. My copy of #3 was perfect, crisp and clear-save for the inaccurate chin painting (which was supposed to be white on the chin of the helmet). Most likely all of your least fav figures are all just factory errors as well. EXTREMELY unlucky if that's the case. (because #2 was perfect as well from a review of him elsewhere on youtube) But again, sorry to hear all this dude. ;C #PoorClones
No man, absolutely EVERY Commander Fox released was missing the chin paint. I was there when it was released, so I know the fan outrage and seeing multiple copies of it without the chin. Please watch my newer version of this video I released not too long ago, I go over these figures again, remove some from the list, and re-enforce why some stay. Thorn is the only factory error here.
Jcc2224 I will def watch it but, I’m saying that the sloppy paint job right under the visor isn’t on mine. My copy has cleaner paint but no white paint on the chin. That’s what I’m saying. Ik the figure doesn’t have the white chin but my copy of it just has a cleaner paint job on it overall compared to yours is what I’m trying to say.

Thankfully thanks to factory samples and over-runs getting out there the figure has gotten way easier to find. It still ain't that good though, the grey is oddly green.
Even though out of the hundreds and hundreds of clones I have, these were the only ones I really could legit complain about without saying "it sucks cuz it's old". I got quite the love/hate relationship with Black Series personally.

It was in there, and I saw them in the movie, but that figure is missing a LOT of the details that were present on the on-screen armor.
