I think the two best ways to develop that lower penetrative nature are: A. Having a purpose (penetrating the world), moving forward in life, working hard at a goal / goals. & B. Facing your fears. (moving out of your comfort zone in any way, asking out a girl when nervous, etc.) Both are things I talk about a lot on my channel. When you are doing those two things, this more assertive, thrusting nature should naturally grow and arise in you. I believe Zan has grown his penetrative nature so much by working hard on his goal of spreading his message of the ars amorata and loving women. When on your purpose / working hard on a goal or goals, you drop this neediness to the world because you have something larger that yourself that you are working for. Thus, zan is "penetrating" the world by working on his goals. If you don't have a "purpose", that's fine. Just have some goal that you are working hard at. Also, another HUGE thing is just having a spirit of adventure, risk-taking, and a desire to take life to the very limit. To FULLY experience and most importantly to ENJOY what life has to offer. Edit: I actually disagree with Zan that the "balancing downward energy' is a "destructive energy". I don't like that term. The words I would use to describe that energy are.. a "penetrative energy" or "having a secure ego" energy. Just my thoughts. :)

Pretty crazy to see you sitting next to the maestro himself. Bought and read the book, thanks to you. Haven't regretted a single page of it. It reads really smooth and has lots of insights in it. It's not about pickup, it's about a way of life. A way of enjoying life and not being afraid of your own truth, in every moment. Great storytelling. One of the best books I've read so far. This guy is so wise. His analysis of modern masculinity and the problems men face in the world at large and specifically the dating world is, well....penetrative. I feel like I've always known what he said was true but been unable to elucidate it in own brain or fully understand it or articulate it properly, yet knew it to be the case all along, if that makes sense. So many emotions when I read this masterpiece... brings tears to my eyes and makes me want to write poetry.
I totally agree with this conversation, there is taboo on everything, we are sexual beings, our very passion for anything is from sexual energy coming forth, your love for the arts, music, whatever your passion is, what you do, as well for each other.

Hell yea, awesome how you got to interview him, his book is great! also really like the upper/lower energy metaphor because i struggle being too much of an empathetic, "nice guy", but definitely noticing improvements. Great video.

just have to say thanks for this video, I've bought his book and it is such a good book, I can't express the gratitude I have for his work. I was naturally a loving guy but I saw that that's not how society functions, so now since I've been more open to love i feel better and more people are attracted to me

this is good advice but i don't think this only pertains to men. I'm a woman and if i see another girl struggling with a heavy bag, i always offer to help. if someone comes to my house, i always offer to take the jacket, ask them if they want tea. that part of it, that's just good manners isn't it.

zan is right about guys having fear but he doesn't point out how women have this mean dirty conservative look when they walk around public which makes guys not want to approach or talk to her. I'm not bashing women just to put that out there I deeply love women there are so many beautiful loving women out there who are inspiring to men, but I bring this up because guys do talk about how they want to meet a girl or approach but when they see a girl they want the girl has this mean conservative look which makes the guy afraid to talk to her or makes the guy timid when communicating with her. The only way a man can open up his authenticity is if a women is open arms to him with smiles and welcoming signals so when they get together and talk it will be easy for them to connect and open up to each other.

Look up Coach Corey Wayne on TH-cam. He is great at teaching men to be centered in the their masculine core.

lamazoidas I believe they both cultivate this downward energy. I prefer the more enjoyment path, but it's up to you.
Awesome. A very simple recommendation from me would be intense training (specifically compound lifts & sprints) or martial arts. In addition to this, some of the things Elliott Hulse talks about- particularly bioenergetic breathing/ dynamic meditation could be very useful.

Could someone clarify to me what they mean by lower energy? Does that just mean being real and truthful of your desires towards women without the intentions of gaining something from them? An example of what I mean is, instead of complimenting a women because you want to get in their pants you compliment them because that is just how you feel, or is there more to it then just that?

Hey Peter. I shared some thoughts on this in the description. An additional thing I didn't mention in the description is I think becoming a leader in some area of life helps develop that "lower" energy. (captain of a sports team, manager at work, organizing some event, etc.) Also, just expressing yourself honestly, continual self-development, and living with courage.

I love women. I am not MGTOW, nor ever will be. A sizeable population of MGTOW is whiny bitter misogynstic men who have been rejected by some women, and rather than improving themselves they play the victim card and blame women and society. There are lots of very very unhealthy things about MGTOW. I hope you don't mind my honest thoughts. I will say that they make some good points about the legal and court system though. And I do have empathy for guys who have gone through a hellish divorce. Beware of the hive minds and group-think of groups like MGTOW. Can be very very toxic imo.
