- In this video we are studying Galatians 6, which is the final chapter and therefore final video in our #BibleStudyWithMe series going through the book of #Galatians! 🤯
In Galatians 6, Paul continues to spell out for us some practical implications of what it means to live by the Spirit, how God has called us to live - particularly what that means for living in community. We learn about what the goal should be when correcting a brother or sister who is in transgression, and the tone of gentleness it should be done in. ✨
This is a beautiful way to end the book of Galatians because in reading you realize, this is precisely what Paul has been doing with the Galatians in his letter. He rebukes them for adhering to a false gospel out of a desire to please people rather than serve God, but he corrects them in love and when all is said and done, he still regards the Galatians as his brothers and sisters and prays for God's grace over them. His goal in correcting them was restoration to God's original intent, not condemnation. 💛

Gold star. I read through it. Thank you Kaci. I actually wrote a longer note but it got deleted accidentally, the devil is trying. However, I found this beneficial as I was straying wanting to find ways I could earn my salvation and I was looking back to Judaism for inspiration since it was before Christianity. However, and I kid you not, the lesson from you that it is by faith and not works was done then following day. It gave me clarity and restored me. I seek the Holy spirit and the blessing of the fruits of the spirit. Thanks Kaci. I would like you to do Genesis please. It is at the beginning and so many things were said their. I dont think Christianity is about only the New Testament but how Jesus washed away all the condemnation we deserved from the old testament.. Or something like that. I am still learning .

Just finished the study! :) I loved how Paul never gave up on the Galatia's and focused on calling on Jesus. That is what we should always be doing in all circumstances. Calling on Jesus and relying on Him for His help and guidance!

"9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers."
We can so often become weary of supporting, restoring, and rebuking, our brothers and sisters. But we are called to,
because that is something good that we must not grow weary of.

so for example if someone we know personally hasn’t repented an they say they may have faith in some areas an they rejected the lords repentance , an even know my self hasn’t done the best at examining my self , an like u said i can just focus on my self can I move on from the situation cause i feel like this person isn’t as spiritual an i find my self feeling more down over then i should rather then looking at gods joy for the life he has for me.

We finishing Galatians 6 two of verses I look deeply in was 1- 8 talk a restore the spirit and not to be tempted of something. Or someone Verse 8 that I shouldn't soweth in flesh to make my self is corrupted but Soweth in spirit the spirit reap good things. Read the book of John

I have a friend who is a narcissist that I believe God wants me to help. I've received multiple confirmations from God to help her. My church agreed to work with her to. We are ambassadors, and God changes the heart.
I definitely agree - God uses us but He is ultimately the one to bring about heart transformation. I'm so glad you and your church are there for your friend!

Do you memorize verses easily?
I think when I have read them a couple times (or studied them in depth) they tend to stick pretty naturally without me trying to memorize, but when I'm setting out to memorize, I don't think I remember them as easily. If that makes sense lol
