I'm SO excited to be doing my first Bible Study With Me series through one of the prophets! Give this video a thumbs up if you're excited for this study, and comment down below what you took away from Habakkuk chapter one! 💛✨
I came here because my unbelieving husband asked me basically the same questions that Habakkuk had and I didn't know how to explain it to him. Thank you for breaking this down for me. God lead me here ❤
I really enjoyed this video. I have been struggling to get back into reading my Bible and this Bible study was the perfect push. I am really looking forward to the next one!
I like how Habakkuk was so concerned about the unrighteousness of Judah and he turned those concerns into questions to God. I think we all go through difficult seasons in our lives when we constantly ask God why? When? How long? But Habakkuk ultimately embraces his trust in God which results in praising Him. We all walk similar roads but our destination should always lead to glorifying our Lord. These minor prophets may not be long in words but they pack ALOT of wisdom into short chapters. Thank you Kaci for sharing your wisdom with others. Love your Bible studies. May God continue to bless you. ❤
This is a wonderful study! I’m so happy that I’m here. I learned that God could fix the chaos, unjust and divisions that are happening but he won’t until it is on Gods timing and plan. I’m standing on the watch tower with Habakkuk. See you in the next chapter!
I came on TH-cam to find a Bible study on Habakkuk and I stumbled upon yours. I really enjoyed your way of teaching. Going through a storm in our lives right now. And the scriptures, you highlighted five and six out of chapter 1 really spoke to me. thank you for sharing.
this is our first time doing the bible study of Habakkuk and i loved the way you interpret the book and all your answers to how we are to give the glory in everything that is going on in this world. thank you Kaci!
I am really enjoying your bible study. What I got out of this is that God has a purpose and a plan and even though we don't understand it we need to trust in God's plan not our own.
Amazing thank you , wonderful Bible studies by favorite verse was Habakkuk 1:5, it was Gods response to Habakkuk, he reminded us that his ways is not our ways , that sometimes as his people we might have to struggle to trust his integrity despite all the evidence to the contrary ☺️
I just want to thank you so much for your series. I really enjoy studying the bible with you in the morning. I was not familiar with the book of Habakkuk but as you are explaining it, it really helps to see parallels from this book and what we are experiencing right now in the world. We are actually living through what seems a similar time right now. Recognizing that, makes me realize that maybe it was in God's plan to read this book now, as things are getting so corrupt around the world and there is so much sadness and anger everywhere. What I got from this is: - that God is always in control, even though it may seem like He isn't when we don't see things happening the way we feel they should. -We can trust God, even when things are not going our way. He sees the "bigger picture" and has a purpose for all we experience in life. He will use the good and the bad to shape us into who we should become. -It's OK to come to God when we don't understand something or when we feel frustrated. God doesn't get angry with us when we ask why he does something or when we disagree and can't understand what is going on. It's better to come to God who is the only one who has the power to do something about it and who actually knows the "why's" of what we are asking. (If we do decide to vent with friends, we should make sure that they are Godly or their response can pull us farther away from God)
Excellent job. Thank you for following scripture. I’ve listened to others who have done what is described as a Bible study only to find its a story of their life. I’ve subscribed and look forward to chapter 2.
This scripture spoke to me. I plan to apply it as I wait and watch. Thank you for this study.🙏🏽 I will take my stand at my watch-post and station myself on the tower, and look out to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaints. Habakkuk: 2:1
I’m glad you’re doing Habakkuk because I really didn’t know much about this book before! The minor prophets get so little attention, but the themes in this book you’ve already presented are super relevant to the times and to those who have struggled to come to Jesus because they haven’t been able to get past that question of: “How could God allow such evil to happen in this world?” I’m excited to follow along!
I recently found your channel and I love your bible study series,{I have seen them all more than once}the way you break it down lets me get more of an understanding of whats going on,I'm SO looking forward to more bible study content from you
My sister i look at you and have no doubt you are one of the ones going to heaven. All I feel is positive bright energy around you and I truly enjoy the way your explane the scriptures in Habakkuk 💖🙏🏼
Habakkuk 1:13 because of how you explained on it and revealed how its true that we cant compare unrighteous with unrighteous just because one has sinned more than the other, because at the end of the day we all have fallen short and are in need of Gods grace
Thank you Kaci. I LOVE the book of Habakkuk and minor prophets. I am really excited too! 1:2 is my favorite in this chapter. Your room is sooo pretty.🍀🌷🍀
You hardly take a breath but you're good at. Now, more importantly, I am grateful for this bible study on trusting God. This book is like the perfect hunting ground to train your heart to prepare its net to be uploaded with God's eternal goodness through trusting that His plans are ever perfect for LIFE and GODLINESS. THANK YOU KACI
I began watching your Bible studies several months ago. I absolutely love how you read the chapters and verses first then go over it. You are easy to understand. Thank you for doing this. I have trouble reading due to a vision problem, so it's wonderful for me. Just so you know, I've listened to others, but I found yours to be the very best. God bless you.
HiChecking in on Tuesday, 9 July 2024 (Bali, Indonesia) - I stumbled upon this while searching for the Bible Project videos for Habakkuk; glad I did. A refreshing Bible Study for me to add to my Bible Study connection regimen. Felt like a private session.
I am just so ecstatic reading this chapter because 1. I feel God brought me to this video because I was struggling like Habakkuk, and 2. because it is just so incredible. God's power is so beyond my understanding and I am but dust in compare yet he loves and saves me. This book i feel is so important yet not as well known so I am definitely going to be sharing it!
Yes a minor book but packs a punch of information! Thanks for sharing 💛 I really appreciate vs 3 because some people say it’s wrong to question God, however, Habakkuk wasn’t questioning with bad motives, he humbly wanted to know why God was allowing these things to happen. If we ask God with a humble and respectful manner and research the answer in his Word, he will reveal why. The question of why God allows suffering is one of the biggest questions I find that people want to know. The website jw.org has given me a clear understanding of why. If you search in the search box “why God allows suffering,”there’s a great short video on it! Thanks again for encouraging bible discussions such as these!
Yes - I do think there are sometimes He still won't reveal why (thinking of the book of Job). But the powerful thing to learn from Habakkuk is the correct heart posture in asking: trusting God no matter how long it may take to get the answer, and whether or not we get it at all. Trusting Him when we don't understand. 💛 I'm so glad you're joining along for this study! 😊
@@kacinicole Yes I agree Job did not understand nor was it revealed to him why God allowed these things to happen, however, we do know now because we have the complete Bible. We can learn so much now that we have the complete bible, why sometimes God allows things to happen. From my own personal research, Gods sovereignty is on the line. Satan challenged Gods sovereignty or right to rule when in the garden of Eden Satan lied and told Eve that God was a liar and that they would not die if they ate from the fruit but would rather be like him knowing good and bad. He was in a sense saying that they did not need to be under Gods rule, they could choose to rule themselves and be like God if they ate from that fruit. Also when we look at the study of Job, Satan stated that humans only worship him because of what they get out of it that is thus why God allowed Job to be tested to prove Satan a liar and show that humans want to be faithful because they love him not only in good times. Also Proverbs 27:11 tells us That we should be wise and make Gods heart rejoice so he can make a reply to him that taunts him which as we know is Satan. Satan is still taunting God with the same insult as he did with Job- humans are only faithful when things are good for them but in tough times they will stop serving you. This is why God has allowed time to pass to prove Satan a liar and to uphold his right to rule as sovereign, that being the only and best rulership to rule over mankind as our creator. Sorry for the the LONG message, I did much research on this and thought I’d share ☺️
I’ve always struggled studying the Bible so thank you for making it simple and understandable! I love how you explain how you study and then break it down!
I'm in a bible study right now and we are studying the Book of Habakkuk - your bible study is so great and it's helping me understand this book so much more. Looking forward to your next one. It's Awesome!❤
I love the bible project! I lead a small bible study group online and we always start our next book we study with the bible project. We're currently going through Daniel.
Pretty crazy how you wrote this down in your notebook on March 3, 2021 and here I am watching this on 3/3/22. Appreciate your study by the way. It’s helpful as I am studying this book this week.
I like verse 5 of chapter 1. It is food for thought. Many things other are happening in the nations of the world is what The LORD is saying that we are to observe. He wants His people to stop and take stock. 2 Chronicles 7:14 is relevant in this regard.
Thank you for studying Habakkuk. Often times the Old Testament is left in the background which is sad be cause its contents clearly lead a to what will take place and is fulfilled in the New Testament.

Good job on the bible says
Hello! I’m new to Bible study and your channel. I have a hard time understanding that God allows or disallows, as he gave us free will, and with the knowledge that some people may not chose him. I believe everyone in this channel chooses him, including me… but then I need to understand if God does intervene, and then I may have more questions. Sorry 😞. Also, I enjoyed the video and the way you approached the scriptures, and I LOVE The Bible Project!
Appreciate the study. Chaldeans is pronounced like there is no h. Caldeans. It was driving me nuts! lol
Oh whoops, good to know!

How so timely is this for the USA?!
Habakkuk 1:4

But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. Jude 1:3
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Revelation 6:8
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. John 8:32
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Ephesians 6:18
