In every interview he does with Billie you can tell how much Stephen really adores her. I don't even think it's about the music. I think he sees somebody so young and talented, and his immediate fatherly reaction is to be incredibly proud of her and protective and encouraging.

It’s not easy growing up under the sort of spotlight she has been subject to for most of her formative years. It’s been a bit crazy but she is super creative and seems very well adjusted all things considered. Hoping she can continue to thrive.

I get why shes so proud of this song. Still has her iconic sound but the mystery is stripped away. It’s not a photo album, it’s a coffee table book. A photo album is a book with plastic covered pages in which you insert physical photos.

It’s not easy growing up under the sort of spotlight she has been subject to for most of her formative years. It’s been a bit crazy but she is super creative and seems very well adjusted all things considered. Hoping she can continue to thrive.

I admire her as a woman and the journey she is on 🤟🏽 Her genuine truth is so refreshing and she remains grounded and likable throughout all the fame even when she wants to just shut down and recharge. It‘s a big deal because she used to say she wears baggy clothes because she doesn‘t want to be reduced to her looks. And now this. It seems weird. As if she‘s doing it for publicity. Which she is, of course. But that is disappointing, as lots of people applauded her integrity in not wearing revealing/over-sexualized clothes.

Her baggy clothes were a security blanket for her because A) she was a minor, a literal child! and wasn't interested in people seeing her body before she was ready and B) she was insecure with her body. She explains all of this very plainly in the interview she did accompanying the shoot. And feeling confident in her skin and wanting to wear and try out form-fitting clothes as she gets older also does not reduce her integrity one bit. She's just a girl growing up. Jesus.

I get why shes so proud of this song. Still has her iconic sound but the mystery is stripped away. With a lot of her songs, theres a lot of room for interpretation, but with this one shes making a clear, powerful, unmistakable message about predatory behavior, which we haven't heard much of from this generation. I love it
