You are right. Twister is my favorite trail at Santos. Longer than a lot of them. Where do you stay when you go down to Santos? I've camped right there at the park, but this year I'm thinking of getting an Air B&B for a week.
I've never stayed there more than two nights each time, so I have used motels in Ocala. But I'm thinking about finding an Air B&B in March and spending a week there. I really enjoy riding at Santos.
@@an_over-the-hill_mountainbiker Thank you, I plan on getting an Air B&B this year. I sold my camper but bought a truck and put a cap on it. I'm currently making a slide out tray to put my bikes on inside the cap so I can lock them up while traveling. Maybe I'll run into you sometime. Have a great holiday.
@@gregghershberger7968 Sounds like a great plan. That truck with a cap should keep your bikes out of sight and safe from thieves. I have done that when taking multiple bikes but the last few trips I've only taken one bike and just take it in the motel room.
Twister is only long for the "near Santos Trailhead" trails. Nayls (north and south) are longer. Christmas, New Years, Tricycle.....
Thanks for the information. I'll check out Nayls next time I get to Santos.
That looks fun. It would be nice to be down there now.
Yes, but riding in snow can be fun as well!
