This is really very rare material. At about 8:40 it is really very exciting for me. Didn't see this Elvis movie before, and I'm a huge fan and collector! Thanks for sharing! Many greetings, Gregor from Germany
The only thing in this video that is of most interest to people is the amazing unseen footage of Elvis. This is the only reason I watched this video and more people would have discovered this video if the uploader made a seperate video just for the Elvis segment. It's a real shame that so little footage of Elvis's early live appearances (excluding tv) in the 50's exists. The best footage of Elvis live in the 50's is the 1956 & 57 shows in Tupelo that fans have seen over and over again in documentaries. Now that footage I believe was filmed for the news as well. I wish his management filmed some of his 50's concerts not just snippets, because live on stage is where he went real wild for the audiences. All his tv appearances were much more toned down and of course rehearsed. I think Elvis would be even more popular with younger people if his early career was documented on film more closely like the Beatles. Once again you would have to thank Colonel Tom for this. Thanks for uploading this. A real gem.
Fantastic footage of THE KING in 1956. Rare film.
How amazing, more than 36 years after Elvis life time are we still once and a while treated with never before published pictures and footage!
