Yes, sometimes I wait to watch them back to back, esp if it’s a podcast where you know it’s going to be a week until the next episode. I just couldn’t help myself with Bedtime Stories and had to watch it immediately!! Leave ‘em wanting more, right? Lol!!
A teenager / guy in his early 20s who's dad is sets him up with a flat away from the farm and off on his own in the city? Lawrence apparently lacked what my grandfather would have called "wild oats," as in, the type young men are inclined to sow. I had to pay several hundred dollars a month for that kind of freedom at about that age, and it was worth every penny. Sure, being told one has to leave is different than choosing to do so of one's own accord, but I still think Lawrence had the wrong perspective on the situation.
A very good video. This Heol Fanog case is covered at great length in a BBC podcast called "The Witch Farm", with Danny Robins who also presented "The Battersea Poltergeist" and presents "Uncanny".
Just put the kids to bed after a night out trick or treating and our traditional watching of hocus pocus, and was very pleased to see this as a seemingly perfect bedtime story for Halloween! Thank y’all and happy Halloween from this hillbilly mamma in the backwoods of Tennessee
It is and there’s nothing inherently wrong with the narrator’s voice, but it sounds completely pedestrian to me, unlike the guy at the sister channel Wartime Stories .
I love how you release your videos more often nowadays, but the quality somehow remains just the same: Top-notch! This is the best channel on TH-cam for everything creepy, and I'm glad to see a higher tempo hasn't resulted in a loss of quality.
I'm just going to point out that the electricity bills going down and a foul odor that plagues the hallways suddenly vanishing is actually what one might expect when you kick out your teenage son.
Eddie Burks. He's my favourite ghost hunter. He truly was a gem of a man who genuinely cared to help those spirits in need. I've got one of his books actually called Ghost Hunter, and he appeared on the show Ghosthunters (UK series and not the U.S one) in which he helps relieve an RAF solider killed at a base outside of war time but who would appear to a female officer and then suddenly disappear. The female officer said it appeared to her a few times and only to her. It's really fascinating and Eddie was the one of the first people who made me take notice and respect the paranormal world.
He sounds like he was a very lovely person. Maybe he could have helped the family come to an understanding with the spirit. That’s what I would have tried to do the first time around. You know learn the history of the community and the property, learn the local customs, that sort of thing.
Self-destructive, emotionally imbalanced, prone to erratic, raging mood-swings, impossible to live with, imbued by vice. Aren't these the essential traits of a great artist??
Threaten my family that much? I'd move out of there. They suffered for years? No way I'd do that unless there were no other alternatives. Perhaps this was the case - they couldn't afford to move . . .
There seem to be many mundane factors which attract malevolent spirits. You can't afford to move so they have a captive audience. Electricity to fuel their activity. A lot of Missing 411 disappearances occur near BOTH granite outcroppings AND water sources. Granite has unique electromagnetic properties and as we know, water is an excellent conductor of electricity. But schizophrenia is very common amongst economically oppressed demographic groups, such as the Irish of yore. Such people are convenient hosts for spirit infestations because they can't afford to insulate themselves from all manner of abuse, otherworldly or otherwise. I say, college is usually a bad investment for those who were underprivileged to begin with. At least in the US. Skyrocketing tuition costs are simultaneous with skyrocketing enrollment. The prevalence of college degrees dilutes the prestige and marketability of each and every degree. Coupled with student loan debt, the cost/benefit ratio rarely justifies this investment.

That was really, really eerie. I remember seeing a ghost documentary back in the 90s and a recreation of Liz seeing the 8ft tall figure. It creeped me out then and did this time as well. I’d like to do some research on this ‘haunting’, particularly the geology of the area. Great stuff. Thank you. 😊

Brilliant as usual BTS. I found myself groaning though, when the old Satanic Worshipers and Satanic Rituals were wheeled out. After that I was fully expecting the paranormal researchers to wheel out another old favourite,... Demons, usually more than one and demonic possession. I also can't get my head around the fact that it appears they did have somewhere else to go since she wanted to move out but he didn't. Why on earth would you remain somewhere that was causing you and your family such grief?? Mental illness, sheer pigheadedness? Whatever the case, it destroyed the family and his son took the brunt of it. Hopefully the rest of the family are OK and the son has found happiness.
Agreed. Not every incident involving hauntings has to involve Satanists. My theory is that it was the spirit of a previous tenant who didn’t like the fact an Englishman had moved into their home. The spirit might have viewed the family as interlopers and outsiders, which technically they were due to the father being an Englishman and there being a history of tension between the English and the Welsh dating back to the Middle Ages alongside with the family not having any obvious roots to the community. The irony is that these series of events could have been solved if the family had actually done their research and tried to become part of the community.

If Ghostbusters has taught me anything, those power surges and power drainage incidents are a result of ghosts who possess Electrokinesis, the ability to drain electrical charge. According to Tobin's Spirit Guide, most people think this ability is gained after a ghost is directly struck by lightning, but Tobin firmly believes it's a learned ability.
Very true. However, since there was a satanic worshipers located near the household would suggest a low-level portal to the afterlife was opened. That type of paranormal phenomenon could have caused the appropriate amount of interference within an electrical grid.
I really feel for this family. It seems they were “put upon” and tormented by the forces there almost worse than all (or most of) such similar cases and hauntings
Halloween is a pagan ritual. Witchcraft. It will open you up to evil spirits much like this story which I find entirely plausible. FYI, all culture is based on paganism. Even Christmas.

(Sorry about the giant comment in advance!): As someone who is a "soft skeptic" open to evidence, while also having a long fascination with and love of paranormal stories, this case feels extremely interesting... in any case, it certainly doesn't seem "fake" (something far rarer than misinterpretation, imo). However, if I had to guess, I'd say this case is a perfect example of multiple environmental and psychological factors compiling to push everyone over the edge; the stress of the situation with Laurence (who probably struggled with hitting puberty while dealing with a new family situation and a totally new house, hence his reticent behaviour), the bizarre behaviour of the farm animals, and what I personally suspect was a carbon monoxide leak or something tied to the faulty electricity (certainly the behavioural changes, forgetting object placement like that knife, and shadowy visual and audible hallucinations are all very strong indicators of carbon monoxide) compounded in Bill having a complete breakdown, thus dragging the rest of his rightly alarmed family down with him. A truly fascinating case, told with the gravitas and charm we all love from Bedtime Stories!!
None of that. That was a demonic infestation. These things are very real, not a case of environmental or mental issues. You have no idea. Pray you never have to encounter this.
I think it said on the The Witch Farm podcast (a podcast about the case) that the paints that Bill used as an artist could have created hallucinations or mental problems as there was lead and all kinds of stuff in paint back in the day. I used to be quite common for people to have problems after using paints for a long time.

I was hanging on every word and image as always and will remain until I see the next episode in which case I will surely press play with the lightning fast speed of an electrically gifted ghost. Thank you thank you for keeping me entertained and in Wonder of the darkness that lurks in the world. May God and good bless us all and keep us safe from the sinister forces of satanic evil.
I am not sure. I watched the BBC series called Witch farm which provided primary witness testimony. Which made me suspicious of the farm neighbour, who probably hated the English. All of this stemed from him. Who knows what he did or the people he put up to further wind Bill with depression. It doesn't account for what the children and wife saw. But then again. Why no pictures? There was some BBC footage that recorded a scream, but that was destroyed. Neightbours who since lived there had no problems at all.
Agreed. There is a long history of tension between the English and the Welsh and the father was English. As to why the wife and the kids were affected as well…my best guess is because she, being of Welsh descent, was married to an Englishman which probably brought out bad blood and the kids were half English which might have also called bad blood. And this is why you should try to learn as much about a place’s history and culture as possible so you don’t anger anyone. At least that’s my philosophy. It’s worked so far for me.
Something about this story made me think about the possibility that at death, our souls free of their bodies, are set free in an ethereal ether. Some souls enter into a harmonious state if their death is peaceful whereas others are out of sync and have to be realigned with the ground-state electrical field. While I won't say I believe in any of this as I don't have any evidence, how weird would it be to think that there may be electrical energy powering our current state of technology which is essentially the latent energy of our ancestors and anything that has ever lived? Granted we are currently burning the remains of extinct animals in order to fuel our cars and create plastics, so it's not completely unreasonable as our current society wouldn't be possible without those who came before us, in more ways than one.
I have been a part of your page for 5 years since. But, this is one of the most beautiful haunted stories I have ever heard. Had a good Little cry in the end.
living in a farmstead, I can tell from experience that excess power could arch to phosphorus/nitrogen rich soil and disperse through the ground effectively running up their bill. But as for the rest of the haunting I have no clue.
The electricity meter reacting as it did screams scooby doo level shenanigans. I get the feeling some one in the village wanted ti buy the land on the cheap and was trying to drive out buyers and lower the price

Exorcisms only work on ghosts of people who were of that faith, a placebo for people who mistakenly think they are possessed but have a religious mindset, or evil spirits specifically created by that god for the purpose of challenging believers. It rarely does anything but provoke other entities like fae or similar entities across different cultures especially those found in nature. Being seen as a challenge or insulting. Generally there are other ways to placate them but don't tend to articulate what they actually want to people unfortunately. Sometimes something as simple as moving an old car or trash pile away from a certain corner of the yard can actually be enough.
With spirits and/or entities drawing power from electrical items, I wonder if that means the Amish wouldn’t necessarily experience the paranormal, per se, or at least not as strongly🤔… just a thought!
The issue with that is the fact if we take spirits/ghosts and demons seriously. Then we see there are very different types and haunting. We also know mirrors are powerful and act like portals, and water is very powerful, giving these anomalies more strength. Ley lines are also powerful things that many say power these type of things, interestingly enough these are also linked to a lot of other mysteries and even aliens. They are powerful energy fields that are linked and travel all over the world. The pyramids, stone henge, aztec temples and such are located on these lines and line up.
What a load of bollocks. This poor family couldn't cope with a father who's mental health deteriorated due to alcoholism and these pricks took advantage of them.

I am a skeptic, but my girlfriend's house is.. haunted? Voices. Stomps. Rattling doors. Pounding knocks. Smells. I and others have heard them. Even while talking to her on the phone! Witnesses to moving pots and dishes in the kitchen. Even her pets can hear them. However no ghostly visions though. And part of this unique equation is her. Where others would be terrified - she says "They're just noises. They're not going to hurt you." .. There are unexplainable things out there for sure.
How about just leaving and walking away from the situation! There were probably financial considerations, however was this really worth their sanity and probably their lives. I am only halfway through this second part and have not finished it. I wonder how it ends!

Yas!! I was hoping the 2nd part wouldn’t take too long. Some content creators wait so long to put the 2nd parts out I forget the 1st part.. thanks!!
Nah, they're pros over here!
Yes, sometimes I wait to watch them back to back, esp if it’s a podcast where you know it’s going to be a week until the next episode. I just couldn’t help myself with Bedtime Stories and had to watch it immediately!! Leave ‘em wanting more, right? Lol!!
I mean they did literally say it was coming Halloween during the last bit of the first part…
After episode 1 he said episode 2 would come out Halloween day. If you had watched the whole 1st episode you would have known that.

>Birdman makes a dramatic entrance into your house
>Cranks your electricity meter all the way costing you hundreds
>Is never seen again
In bird culture that's considered a dick move
Yeah,
People who live in Commiefornia call that evil spirit, PG&E!
Birdman obviously has Goose ancestry. Geese are scientifically proven to be the top dick of birds.🪿
The more unexplainable, the more torturously memorable, it seems.
Damn you Birdman! Isn't this currently terrible economy more than punishment enough!?
Fascinating story, while not a big believer in hauntings, I'd have moved out asap if I ever experienced anything like this.
Poor Laurence. How would he not feel tossed aside after being sent away like that by his dad? Especially when the new wife and kids were still there.
😢
Heck he just might have turned out better than the rest for having left. Sad, but it could have saved his life.
Poor Laurence will be in my prayers
A teenager / guy in his early 20s who's dad is sets him up with a flat away from the farm and off on his own in the city? Lawrence apparently lacked what my grandfather would have called "wild oats," as in, the type young men are inclined to sow. I had to pay several hundred dollars a month for that kind of freedom at about that age, and it was worth every penny. Sure, being told one has to leave is different than choosing to do so of one's own accord, but I still think Lawrence had the wrong perspective on the situation.
Because his dad didn't explain to him why this needed to happen.
Still enjoying the stories, narration, excellent artwork & using words like the older folks did when I was little ("curst") - I'm 63.
🎃Happy Halloween !!!
Thank you Bedtime Stories for shinning some light on my crumby Halloween 🎃
A very good video. This Heol Fanog case is covered at great length in a BBC podcast called "The Witch Farm", with Danny Robins who also presented "The Battersea Poltergeist" and presents "Uncanny".
I've already listened this episode on the podcast, but I'm still watching the video to see the artwork!
Just put the kids to bed after a night out trick or treating and our traditional watching of hocus pocus, and was very pleased to see this as a seemingly perfect bedtime story for Halloween!
Thank y’all and happy Halloween from this hillbilly mamma in the backwoods of Tennessee
Is hocus pocus really age-appropriate though? it has bad morality with sexuality and ‘virgin-shaming’...

Illustrations/artistry is so good, really fantastic on this channel
It is and there’s nothing inherently wrong with the narrator’s voice, but it sounds completely pedestrian to me, unlike the guy at the sister channel Wartime Stories .
excellent, as always. The addition of sound effects helped to make it even more enjoyable!
😅👍
Really ? The smell is still here at our house
That's not funny.

Was…? Isn’t he still alive?
@@crazysilly2914 No he passed away in 2005 according to Wiki.

There is a lot more to the story than what was covered here. The son is doing fine as is the daughter. The mother occasionally gives interviews about what she went through and what she knows of what her husband went through. It could easily fill another 2 or 3 episodes. The mother was possessed by one of the demons for a short time. The husband was visited by a succubus nearly every night. The kids playroom had an old lady appear in a corner so often that the kids actually thought she lived there with them. Their farm animals would be found deceased, some without cause, others mutilated like ranchers occasionally find their cattle, strange lights appeared over their fields from time to time. Basically, they got the Skin Walker Ranch experience. The wife has said in several interviews that she felt the creature that walked out of the wall and down the hall was not a ghost, but a demon. She described its presence as 'feeling pure evil'
She also said that the reason they didn't up and move is because the UK was going through one of the worst housing slumps in its history so going out and buying another home was not an option as they were not able to pay 2 mortgages.
It was explained that when they stayed at a relative's house, they still had activity. Moving wouldn't have solved anything.
Yhey seemed to be doing okay financially. they had money to get the teenager an apartment and outrageous paranormal electric bills and psychic mediums and what have you. I've been thinking to myself, damn these people are rolling in it or drowning in debt
I wonder how the 3 ghosts coped With that Demon @@crazysilly2914
That was really, really eerie. I remember seeing a ghost documentary back in the 90s and a recreation of Liz seeing the 8ft tall figure. It creeped me out then and did this time as well. I’d like to do some research on this ‘haunting’, particularly the geology of the area. Great stuff. Thank you. 😊
You happen to remember the name of the doc? Sounds interesting

When the demon manifested I knew there were Devil worshippers involved.
There was nothing much to do in 18th century rural Wales.
Yeah, they lost me when it turned into the plot of "Hot Fuzz." LOL!

They should've called Bill Murray, he'll sort out these ghosts for a phenomenon fee
This would make for a great movie, I’m surprised it hasn’t been made into one yet!

Thank you thank you for keeping me entertained and in Wonder of the darkness that lurks in the world. May God and good bless us all and keep us safe from the sinister forces of satanic evil.
Thanks so much for such brilliant content. Much appreciated ❤
The English are very hateable. Still, they're not as bad as the French.
Amazing work guys
Ready for more of that good ole high strangeness.

As an electrical engineer, I can safely say this does not at all correspond with the known properties of the electron, electric, and magnetic fields.
WooHoo!! That was fun! Perfect end to a really cool Halloween. Thanks bro. 🎃 👻

Thanks guys for an excellent halloween edition. Greetings from Kilkenny, R.O.I 🇮🇪
living in a farmstead, I can tell from experience that excess power could arch to phosphorus/nitrogen rich soil and disperse through the ground effectively running up their bill. But as for the rest of the haunting I have no clue.
Maybe that could account for the smells and temp changes?
The electricity meter reacting as it did screams scooby doo level shenanigans. I get the feeling some one in the village wanted ti buy the land on the cheap and was trying to drive out buyers and lower the price
I'd have gotten away with it if it weren't for you meddling kids!

😮Fascinating Episodes!! 😮
Wow great story!!! terrifying and tragic if true, and very entertaining if its just a story. Either way, thank you!
Scary stuff! Thank you 😱
With spirits and/or entities drawing power from electrical items, I wonder if that means the Amish wouldn’t necessarily experience the paranormal, per se, or at least not as strongly🤔… just a thought!
I'm sure the Amish have their own Satanic shenanigans.
Americans always have the most fun!
Not necessarily. Some of the most prolific hauntings have taken place in areas that have no electrical power whatsoever.
spirits can also gain power from negative emotional energy
Thank you so much for reviewing these awesome Jinn films

I am a skeptic, but my girlfriend's house is.. haunted? Voices. Stomps. Rattling doors. Pounding knocks. Smells. I and others have heard them. Even while talking to her on the phone! Witnesses to moving pots and dishes in the kitchen. Even her pets can hear them. However no ghostly visions though. And part of this unique equation is her. Where others would be terrified - she says "They're just noises. They're not going to hurt you." .. There are unexplainable things out there for sure.
Good job
How about just leaving and walking away from the situation! There were probably financial considerations, however was this really worth their sanity and probably their lives.
