  • How sheabutter is made in homes in Tamale .
    Most mothers teach their children how sheabutter is made daily .
    It is a tradition that must go on.

    I wish someone would find a way to give these women direct access to selling their shea butter in the western world because they would be rich. IT'S NOT FAIR!!!! I want to support them so badly.

    My grandaughter had severe excema as a baby up until she was 4 yrs old. My daughter and I tried used about skin care product for it - lotions and creams prescribed by doctors, over the excema and other skin products, oils, you name it. Then someone told her about naturally processed Shea butter...she started using it, and it worked wonders...better than all the other stuff. The flare ups..skin thickening..slowed; her skin would heal faster, and she had way less itching. Also, it kept her skin moist better than anything else we tried.

    I don't think I have ever been to tamale; my family is from the volta region and cape coast. but whenever I go to Ghana I always get raw shea butter. my grandmother used to rub shea butter on her pregnant belly to ward off stretch marks and many people in my family use it on their face as well. It is a miracle ingredient!

Can you please explain to me what it means to be cold pressed and if it’s does the same thing. Considering the fact that it has the same smell as the regular one

    • @LanceDaPsycho
      @LanceDaPsycho 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Jamie Matovu
      Cold-pressed is a method of extracting the oils without any heat, since heat is supposed to degrade the quality. It’s just mushed, grinded, and pressed until the oil separates.
