I have purchased Shea butter from Baraka and it is smooth and does not have that funky smell that most of the Shea butter in its natural state has. A truly wonderful product, thank you 💜

Baraka is my staple in all of my soap I put in the store. I did buy some refined shea from another company that was rancid and it was pungent and unfortunately was purchased new when it arrived that way. EVERYTHING I have purchased from Baraka has been lovely. Best of all they are located here on my island!

What a fabulous education regarding natural shea butter. I don't even remember how I originally began to be interested in shea butter but I bought a huge block of from Amazon ten years ago or so and I mix it with coconut oil and use it for make removal, face moisturizer and body moisturizer for many years now. It is amazing and has been the absolute best moisturizer I have ever used. I will
    now buy from Baraka.

I whip it myself with other oils . It’s earthy natural smell which doesn’t stay in the skin it disappear . But it’s very nice I also wash myself with African black soap then I put the Shea butter am 47 years old I’ve being using it now for 15 years and people say I look 27 praise GOD 😊 also what makes you young is serving the LORD and living a path with JESUS . Thank you for the video... I'm wishing that the women that's providing the Shea butter to the world is GREATLY compensated for all their hard work and not being TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF....with all these well known big companies using Shea butter the women should be living BETTER
How dare the world take advantage of theses hard working women..this is a form of modern day slavery....
GIVE THESE WOMEN THE MONEY THEY DESERVE!!!!!

I want to make some products for myself and my friends.
They are concern about micro / bacteria.
How do you test for this at home?
    Do you have a kit?
Or maybe this can be an entire video idea.
For those who want to test at home and test for resell?

You'd need to look into challenge testing, which can't be done at home. Honestly as long as you're using your preservatives correctly, it shouldn't be an issue. It's mostly for people who are in business and have concerns about liability and/or whose products might sit on a store shelf or someone's closet for months before use.

Hi there! How do I keep my jars of body butter lotion from getting condensation in the lids. I use the plastic jars with the lined plastic top. It's so frustrating. These are my emulsified body butter lotions. I cool them to room temp around 68 degrees before I pupe them in the jars. Thank you!!

After reading all the hype about shea butter, I tried some for 2 or 3 weeks, but it made my skin feel dry and also burned my eyes. So, I started using beef tallow which I like a lot better.

Is there any chance you're allergic to shea butter? I've read that people who are allergic to latex can have negative reactions to shea butter.
In any event, I'm glad you found something that is working for you ❤️

Thanks for supporting my African sisters, we appreciate!!
But baraka is a swahili word, theres no way it exists in west africa because swahili is our language in east africa! Just to correct that. Its a Swahili word just like the wakanda. Its adopted from our east african region. Most Ghanaians do-not even know the meaning!!
Normally it is used as “luck” more than “thank you”.
Recently we got the chance to establish Swahili as an African union language. Of course Uganda has a-lot of water bodies, boasting of the biggest fresh water body on the continent and good forests the weather hence makes the shea different. Its only found in the north near Sudan where the weather is a little dry, but not as cold as west African weather! So yea, its different.
    Uganda😊🇺🇬🇺🇬
