I wrote a poem about this a few weeks back ...
I AM LIVING WITH TWO FUTURES
I am living with two futures
and I find them curious things,
like a bird who dreams of fins
and a fish who senses wings.
My one tomorrow demands
I make another five year plan
where I work to pay my debts
and become an older man;
where I help my son and daughter
to step strongly into life
and I plant and build and save
and I bless and love my wife.
My other tomorrow will come
and end the first one someday,
when the Lord of Glory appears
to take the faithful away
to a future I cannot imagine
and thus I cannot plan.
I can only trust that instantly
I will become a perfect man.
I am living with two futures
and I find them curious things.
This fish will dream of flying
Until God gives him his wings.

As a 83 year old almost a GREAT-grandpa. we married at 19/20 and she was pregnant….we had $85.00 and moved from Eugene, Or. to San Jose, Ca. By 1984, I became the GM of a large finished building company and bought our first home. Have 3 girls, 2 grands, and owned my last 5 homes free and clear…how and why???? By the GRACE OF GOD! Bless you for this vital message! I was 83 on January 14, sent you my testimony and blessings and a donation. PLEASE! SPEAK THE BIBLE! Jesus is so very near! 😎🙏❤️🇺🇸
I am in my late seventies,am longing to leave this life,but I live every day to the full until that the Lord calls me home. Thank God for the cup of coffee 😊, wonderful friends, but most of all, my Bible. Shalom, God bless you.🙏🇮🇪🌹
I am 62 a widow and give my time energy and small resources to my children n grandchildren. I can not leave them a monetary Inheritance, But I can give them a Godly Inheritance through prayer love and example.
I hope that is enough for their Eternity with Jesus.

I remember when I was 17 our youth group had an 80 year old man speak to us. He told us not to go to college, get married, etc. because Jesus was coming back imminently. We were terrified! That was in the early 80’s. Continue to live for Christ and tell everyone about Him until He returns. Come Lord Jesus! ❤
I had many say the same in the 80s. I was newly saved and some were saying He's coming don't get married. At that time I was just learning about the God of the Bible. Today I'm very upset w what's going on bc I see more& deal w it personally. Idk what was going on in the ,80s it seemed ok to me.

Glad I have those memories he passed away at 36, was a Detective for 18 yrs & never missed a day of work‼️ I look forward to seeing him soon 🙏💕

In this economy I live paycheck to paycheck. I don't gamble smoke. I only eat and work. Nothing frivolous. I don't have enough to retire. I hope my kids can help me or I'll be on the street when I retire
I understand. I am 51 and have nothing saved for retirement. I have always been a single parent and I poverty and now I am raising a grandchild by myself. But God will take care of you and I know He will take care of me too.

Needed this right now. I am so tired and just want to go home to him. I am 34 and just beg him to take us home soon. But I get up each morning, and he encourages me. So I continue on. I have an every day bible that I have been reading since 2009. Each day has an old testament reading a proverb a psalm and a new testament reading. I look forward to it each morning. It is the first thing I do when I get up. Grab coffee and read God's Word. Tuning into you is also a daily habit. You have greatly enriched my understanding of what I read on the Word. Thank you and God bless you. I do hunger and thirst for God's word. With Holy Spirit's help I am learning how to depend on Him daily. May God continue to bless you and your family and ministry. I found myself suffering from “Tribulation Paralysis”. Now, as the world heaps more & more stress every week, I have to remind myself to mcontinue to live and behave as a Christ follower until the End. I hesitated to put in a garden, but I will. I continue to “prep”, stock wisely. If for no other reason than to provide for those left behind, should the End come. Truth is as the labor pains continue to quicken, we need to be prepared to survive to be a light to others, to fulfill our mission in serving God. We don’t know when the Tribulation will occur. LIVE for Christ!
Just B sure to leave some Bible tracts a long with all the canned food. 🕊️✝️🕊️ Kinda weird I'm trying to do the same thing!!!!! Holy Spirit works in mysterious ways. PRAISE GOD 🙌
Where can I get the tracts? I actually donate various things to individuals in my community and help fill a Blessing Box. I’ve always wanted to tuck some tracts in a pocket or tied to a can of food.

Pastor Jack. I appreciate hearing your perspective about money and how it relates to God.
My issue with your perspective is that you are coming from a place where you have a family and neighbors who care. Two years ago I had a very aggressive form of cancer and went through the hell of 6 months of chemotherapy (5 days per week). In the same year my husband had a heart attack. I lost my business due to the inability to work. Do you know who helped? NO ONE but God. We received a lot of lip service.
So I find it difficult to try to think of saving my money so that those who left my husband and I to rot can prosper from our hard work in the future.
Pastor Jack, I LOVE all your stuff!! You put EVERYTHING into layman's terms. I learn so much more from you than I do from the multitudes of others out there. THANK YOU for being here and doing what only You do!! 🙏🙏❤️
God gave me life today.
I honor him by investing myself in His work today.
And gifting it to future generations tomorrow.
That we could be so lucky. 🍀 to be thrice blessed so by the King of Kings 👑

Love this podcast. I’ve seen people that live to watch their bank accounts grown and so greedy. They don’t even enjoy life. The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. We are suppose to take care of our health. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, take care of ourselves. God bless

This message was much needed. It's too easy to look at what's going on around us and feel like nothing we do here matters but that's so not true. My granddaughter and I are in the process of planting baby trees in our yard (5 done, 5 to go) and we still talk about things to do in the future. Since we don't know when Jesus will come back for us, we might as well keep doing what we know needs done.
Father, God, help me. I haven't done this. I'm sorry for my ignorance of your Word and help me to lay up...

It’s amazing how the Holy Spirit as God’s contact with me throughout all the years, has guided in this very subject. Being in my sunset years, these remaining years now glows with God’s wisdom and intimate care. One step at a time can take you far with its’ momentum. Wisdom gives understanding and is a wonderful guide. You don’t need to rush folks just ease yourself along and try to listen to the Spirit’s guidance in all circumstances.

I'm listening to this video and the part of responsibility. It weighs heavy on me because I can't do a lot of things I used to do. Knowing I can't do the things I can't do anymore, but knowing what I can do without it making me sicker. I have not been able to find an open door to where I can actually be doing something. For the past two years, I have looked, and something always ends up a door not open. I have told my mother I feel like God has bubbled wrapped me up. At this moment, all I can do is pray for all situations in others' lives as well as my own. keeping my eyes in the word, listening to sound doctrine, and to give a helping hand if Im capable. People in general have no clue what some people are going through physical even when it doesn't show on the outside. Come Jesus, come !!!
People have no clue how discriminative others can be to people who are limited physically. I pick the steak. Be safe, and God bless!!!
