Much of “Being Treated Best” is attitude. If you’re a worrier, complaining pessimistic person, you won’t be happy anywhere. Optimism solves a lot of of problems and stress.

@@johnmcternan4157 personality and character too. Sometimes I travelled having fun and total peace of mind, while sometimes I brought the problems with me and felt miserable. As Andrew uses to say, moving has to be a holistic plan because it won't solve your problems all of a sudden.
I totally agree, and that's why I left the US back in 96!. Your right on. I live in KL for the past 27 years and its so nice. Bought a great condo, excellent health care , no way I'm going back to the States
Do you find it difficult to get medications in KL?? I am in the US but my wife and I are thinking of leaving. The problem is I take a very tightly controlled medication everyday, and was wondering if it's hard to find medicine that's relatively easy to get in the US, in places like KL?? THANKS!
@@DarthRaver-og7qq In my case where I need to take a few meds its been very easy. I go to the Pantai Med center or my drug store and get anything. The Med center of course would have more of a comprehensive selection. Depending on what the med is as you didn't mention personally I don't think it should be a problem. I've been here over 23 years so far no issues.

The negativity, the keyboard warrior, and the "but this... got you..." is devouring "developed" countries is why I won't buy in most areas of the US... When you live in the US, Canada, western Europe one doesn't realize how they are. But once you go to Eastern Europe, Central and South America, SE Asia and get away from that mentality it is amazing and life altering... I dread when I go back to the US and immerse in it again visiting family and friends... I love being in countries where living with friends and family are the most important thing.

You just described toxic people. Those who have anti-personality and are just ornery and bad people to be around. They don't deserve your attention or your services. They drag you down while you could be spending time with more pleasant people.

That's why I love you! You remind me of me. I am an entrepreneur. I am super positive. I would never talk down to anyone, I'd rather, walk away. Reducing yourself to their level, is usually people whom are not happy with themselves. It saddens me when they take your love and appreciation of helping them, that they decide to trip you out. Perseverance is key to success! Move on to your level of existence and be the best you can be. That's all there really is to it. Find your niche and go there! I pay a whopping negative 100 percent in taxes. I'm partly disabled with no earned income, so a capitalist I'm not, but I definitely dream of one day being able to live in Mexico City. I watch nomad capitalist because it helps me dream for a little while before I go to sleep. It's just a dream.

Even though Nomad Capitalist isn't a big fan of Japan, I can honestly say that leaving the US, moving to Japan and getting Japanese citizenship/passport was the best decision I ever made in my life.
I think he likes Japan too he just is more into thailand and malaysia and cambodia but I am sure there is tons of love for Japan very happy for you by the way always wanted to live in Asia myself and plan on not just talking about it but taking action 😎

@@cetriyasArtnComicsChannel Japan is certainly not for everyone, but I would say to try it out and if it fits you, stay and apply for Japanese nationality as soon as you are elligible.

@@InMooseWeTrust I was born in Canada so I just had to renew that one. My father was born in the UK so I qualified for the UK passport. It was an easy process. I'm now a UK citizen.

The term Frustration can best be descibed as not having control over your life circumstances. If you live in one of the so called "fully developed" legacy countries, you will likely experience much more frustration over a lifetime than you will by going where you are treated best. One of the biggest reasons for this is that fully developed countries have been building their beauracracies over a much longer period of time, resulting in more regulations, and more taxes. More regulations + more taxes= more frustaration. Going where I was treated best 26 years ago has given me a level of control over my life I would have never have had if I had played it safe and stayed in my legacy country of birth. Andrew is spot on.
There are always ghastly people whose only reaction to someone else's success is bullying and obscene language. Entrepreneurs, please note many will NOT be happy at your work ethic and success, however they will revel in your failure,which will be many, but get up and carry on . It sure worked for me! I moved out of mainland USA paying loads of money on bills and mortgage and now I live a simple life in the mountains in my 3 bedroom home, with land producing fruit and vegetables. My mortgage is so low it's unbelievable and I could practically sleep with the door open (considering Puerto Rico is infested with crime.) But since I'm not involved in the drug world, nobody messes with me. When I sit down to drink my tea I thank God for how peaceful my life is. Peace to all.

I have been following you for years and appreciate every piece of advice you give me (first time writing).
I moved around 75 countries before deciding to settle in Shanghai, China. I've passports and a Chinese Greencard (Not an easy task, but was done!)
Your words in this video boosted my confidence to keep doing whatever the hell I want in life regardless of other people's opinions in the present context.
I've found the sweet spot here (like many corporations do). I handle to shield my money and build more assets, pay less taxes, and enjoy awesome infrastructure and safety standards. I have a mixed western & Chinese lifestyle that make every day of my life an awesome experience.

I agree with you Andrew because people can only treat you the way you let them. Granted sometimes people's attitude can go off the rails. If they apologize that shows character. If they continue with their malicious diatribe, that individual does not deserve any polite consideration. There are a few people that you don't want as a customer. You cannot reason with 'jerks'!

10:50 CHOICE! I remember the feeling when entering a new country I chose to live in, especially being a legacy brand one. They opened the borders to me, not because some company got me a visa, but because I simply wanted to go there. It's mind blowing somehow. You then realize that the world is a big sandbox and it's open for you to explore and play.

Great advice on negativity vs anger. Cheers dude!
Lord help me. I suffered SEVERE emotional, verbal, and physical abuse growing up and it was always very unpredictable when it would happen. Had a parent that cared for me, yet also struggled with drinking and mental illness from their own demons. I have paid out of pocket and been investing a lot of time and energy into therapy and counseling. I sometimes say things literally just joking and having a dry sense of humor. However there have been times where anger gets the best of me. I realize many people have not had to experience long term organized harassment as a form of political backlash. Please forgive me Lord for every misdirection of my frustrations. I am on a medical retirement as a Veteran. Most of my pension if not all of it would transfer to other countries. If I renounce my citizenship I would lose all access to this and also to my medical care some of which (if it's related to service connected injuries) is covered via reimbursement while living overseas. I am still on the fence as to if and when I may want to travel / live outside the US. Regardless this made my eyes well up. Reminds me I still have some healing to do. I am trying to find some ways to move up substantially in income. I do believe that people are the sum total or who they hang around with most. I actually purposely have followed this channel for quite awhile because I do want to improve my mindset and working hard at upping my game. This channel doesn't have a click bait vibe to it. I have never spoken ill of them online. So in sure this isn't necessary directed at me. I don't sometimes get a little bit stressed with people on the phone or afterwards. Thank God I am getting more rest finally and my mood is starting to improve. I am sober living and do not want to have bit heart at all. I am not sure if I am the right demographic or not. I am not in the income bracket that is apparently the main intended audience for this channel unless you consdier the lump average of my medical pension and it's projected payout longterm ie it isn't all liquid. However it is a decent amount guaranteed unless something changes drastically. It would go further in certain other countries. Trying to recover my health so that I can work again. I do not get the sense this channel has much of a focus on teaching people how to earn income elsewhere as a digital nomad. I would be curios if they did though. I understand not every understands PTSD or some of the other health challenges I am going through and how it has effected my mood. I am fighting with all my might to try and recover. I do not want to be spreading any bad vibes. I wonder if there are any organic versions of that tea. Nice play on words. Please watch out for the artifical sweeteners. I say this with all sincerity. Had an ex-wife that had a really tough time after developing a low level brain tumor from frequently drinking "sugar free" drinks. Not trying to offend at all. It is something sincere I would tell any friend of mine. Seems like the people over there are in pretty good health though, so I think you will be okay. I wonder if the News and media has a more chill vibe in some of these other countries. Wondering if what's going on in USSR is raising an eyebrows there. Oh lastly it is too my understanding multiple head injuries can also effect someone's mood. That doesn't mean anyone else loses the right to speak up when they feel offended. Just please understand I have been to at least 38 different Veterans Affairs Hospitals, driven several hundred thousand miles and spent a small fortune seeking help. Having medical consults for severe and legitimate issues repeatedly canceled has had me angry with the world and thinking about whether or not another country would help me recover faster. Lyme Disease also cause neurological complications and severe arthritis for me during cold winters. I may sound like a hot mess. Not trying to give a complete health history and air out all my laundry here. Just saying I appreciate people that can have a little patience with a Veteran who has been hurt and let down. Getting into a possible mortgage free home here in the US would seem like a real blessing. I wonder after HOA fees and utilities how that might compare to places in Columbia. I actually had the impression your focus was more on countries that are a bit more industrialized. I had thought and prayed for years about places like Central and South America. Speak Spanish at a beginners level. Thought you had concerns about safety in countries like that. My take home is a little over 4k per month. Maybe I should send an email. Instead of writing a comment that is like a mini essay. Andrew I am sorry you feel tired with some of the online people. People in have been dealing with COVID turmoil for years. Now we are seeing even more price hikes because of overseas conflict apparently. Maybe the 🍵 will help us calm our nerves without intoxicating us.
