I did a past present future reading asking how I could enjoy myself at work as I was feeling stressed out and overwhelmed. I started a job at McDonald's a month ago and I felt like I was struggling with the few responsibilities I had and everyone I talked to said they didn't like working there as well. I received a page of pentacles reversed, nine of wands reversed and ace of swords upright. This is only my second reading I've done with myself and both of my readings have been very accurate haha

Having a hard time figuring out what the ace of swords means for feelings in a reading thinking - feelings - intentions, ten of cups as thinking. That guy always has swords as feelings and cups as thinking.
Your observation about trying to use mentality as tool was key to unfold the clarifiers. "What this card can't represent here?" Ace of pentacles. "What this card do represent here?" 8 of swords. Mental prison.

I find it so overwhelming trying to learn tarot when everybody has so many possible meanings for each card. How do you deal with that? It's not like you can remember all of these possibilities.
The best way is a daily reading, keep it small and intimate. The knowledge about what each card means to YOU will come.
