71 year old BTS Army here. This was the first of 5 Grammy nominations for BTS. Butter was their second Grammy nomination. Two nominations are with Coldplay. They have blown Kpop into the weeds with their global domination. Seriously, they have 800+ awards, 11 American music awards including Artist of The Year. They also have a record setting 12 Billboard Music Awards. Only 68 songs in history have DEBUTED at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. BTS holds the record at 6 times and two other members, Jimin and Jung Kook have also debuted at #1 with their solo songs bringing their number to 8. BTS is the biggest group in the world. Wish you had reacted to Butter without Megan Thee Stallion since she was not on their Grammy nominated version and it wasn't just a visualizer.
So glad you checked out K-Pop but the BLACKPINK songs that you chose aren't really indicative of their sound, they are both fun but more like "exceptions to the rule". Check out their big hits like PINK VENOM, HOW YOU LIKE THAT or KILL THIS LOVE, as they all go much harder and show their swag 😎

@@JaisonReacts Trust me, it'll be like watching a different group! Another great live one to check out is KILL THIS LOVE -TOKYO DOME, it's a 55,000 seat sold-out show. Watch the music video first though, as the music videos have English subtitles but the live performances do not. They also recently were Headliners at Coachella, on their channel they have a few live performances from there, two good ones are PRETTY SAVAGE and TYPA GIRL.

BTS is actually in hiatus, they're now doing solo projects because they going one by one to the military service, 2 of the members (JIN and J-HOPE) are already in it.
JIN released the song "The Astronaut" as a farewell song to the army (bts' fans) for a while.
J-HOPE released "On The Street feat J.Cole" as his farewell song for a while. Last year, he released his first official solo album called "Jack In The Box"
Since the hiatus some members released:
RM - a solo album called "Indigo"
(the guy with blue hair that you liked, he's the leader of BTS)
JIMIN - a solo album called "FACE"
SUGA (aka Agust D) - solo album called "D-Day"
JUNGKOOK - a song called "Seven" (most recent one, it was placed at #1 on the hot100 chart last week)
There's a member called V, he didn't release still his solo work, but some korean media says that he will be dropping his album in the third quarter of this year, so we will be staying tuned!!

@@JaisonReacts of course!! by the way blackpink is a very diverse group with 3 fluent english speakers. they just headlined coachella making history as the first girl group to do so. they are the biggest group in the world rn and have been on a stadium tour for the past 10 months. each member has an official position given to them by their company as follows:
lisa (the girl you liked) - main dancer, lead rapper
jennie (cat eyes and round face) - main rapper, lead vocal
jisoo (pronounced like gee-soo, mature/approachable looking) - lead vocal
rosé (pronounced like the wine/usually has blonde/light hair) - main vocal, lead dancer
main means that they are the most skilled member, lead means they are second best
BTS Dynamite/Butter both were recorded and released during the pandemic. They decided to record the songs in English because their companies founder (Bang Si-Hyuk) thought the songs matched BTS, and that the song’s trendy vibes would be better expressed if sung in English. The band wanted to lift their fans’ (ARMY 💜) mood and also show appreciation to ARMY, for BTS immense popularity and various award nominations.
Butter was played on American Top 40 radio stations, and was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 10 weeks in 2021. Dynamite" was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 3 weeks in 2020. I have heard both of these songs on the radio in the Target, Walmart, and the grocery store. You know you done made it in the US, when a song is playing in the Walmart and Nana's start singing it. 😀

The girl you liked is Lisa! Other comments have already mentioned that they usually sound a bit different than the songs you picked, but I haven't seen anyone mention that they do also have some songs entirely in English. If you want to hear one, you might check out Typa Girl. There isn't a music video for that so you could do "color coded lyrics" or if you are interested in hearing them live, they performed it at coachella this year! Just be careful to pick the recording from their official channel because the fan recorded performances usually have too much screaming to actually hear them, lol.
This is already a long winded comment, but there are tons of amazing groups out there! I recommend Stray Kids, they will knock your socks off, guaranteed.

Bts has literally the hardest choreography ever and has the most incredible Fandom ever I'm friends with a massive amount of Army's and I have a family that has been behind me thick an thin.

Thank you for reacting to BTS. They are the biggest group in the world right now. Currently they are on hiatus due to mandatory enlistment in their country. They not only are musicians but advocates for many worldly things. They worked with Unicef back in 2018, fought against climate change, stood with BLM and SAH, going to the White House in 2022 to give a speech on anti Asian hate. Before mid 2022 certain members released mixtapes instead of actual solo albums. And as of mid 2022 when they announced their military enlistments pausing all group activities and going on official hiatus, HYBE (BTS company) announced that for the 2nd chapter of BTS they will begin to work on solo projects. As of June 2023 6/7 members have officially debuted as soloists. That being J-hope(Jack in the Box)2022, Jin with the single (The Astronaut)2022, RM(Indigo)2022, Jimin(FACE)2023, SUGA aka AGUST D(D-DAY)2023. The two remaining members have yet to release their solo albums but it is reported that they’ll release their albums this year. Jungkook officially debuted with a single title (Seven), later on he will release another single and album in November. He said on live he is currently working on it. For the member V he is actively working on his and shooting music videos, we are not sure when it’ll come out, perhaps in the last quarter of 2023. It was interesting seeing someone being introduced to Blackpink by their more pink songs than the traditional more black side like DDD, Pink Venom , & How you like that😂 their pink songs somehow feel like a false introduction 😂😂

It would be interesting for you to watch the video, A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7, which focuses on each one individually and will give you an idea of exactly who they are, and the time of work and talent of these guys, which June 13th made 10 years since they debuted, the group is composed of 3 rappers and 4 vocal line and yes they have many dancing performances, and you will see that initially they were cut from the programs because they belonged to a small company, so they created content on youtube to approach the fans what makes them stand out, because they really show themselves as they are, it's worth taking a closer look
As the comments agree, the Blackpink songs chosen happened to be the most off-brand videos of their content haha. I recommend perhaps going by TH-cam views and not Google but props for you to reacting to them! :D I recommend Pink Venom and Kill This Love ❤❤❤❤

Ok as an ARMYBLINK, I gotta tell u this b4hand. If ur really going down the blackhole of Blackpink n BTS world, u gotta keep all ur senses open...specially with BTS Always keep cc on for BTS music vids n pay close attention to the lyrics n msg. If needed, watch it twice. Once with cc off, focusing on the symbolism in the music vid n then with cc on, focusing on one of a kind of lyricism in kpop industry. Thats the only way if u really wanna get the best of BTS. The group has outperformed the mere title of just a "kpop grp". They are much more than that n the incorporation of genuine msgs in their artistry plays a vital role to achieve that!!!

The fact you reacted to the 2 blackpink songs with a girly, bubble gum concept 😭 these are legit 2 of the few songs which have this concept. All the rest of blackpink songs are hella girlcrush, powerful, badass etc like that kind of concept..for title tracks I’d recommend kill this love, ddu du ddu du, shut down, pink venom and how you like that and for bsides typa girl and pretty savage. For a more girl pop bubble gum vibe check out lovesick girls as title track and forever young and yeah yeah yeah.. they have solos, many more title tracks and many bsides still.. and still blackpink has very less songs compared to other groups

BLACKPINK is like the QUEENS OF KPOP, pls react more their black concepts which are badass music video, hiphop and sexy. The ones you’ve seen are their pink concept songs which are bubbly cute and fun.
I would recommend stray kids ^^ they are an 8 member group with no roles (Google always gets it wrong 😭)
They are amazing if you like rap, as that is kind of their specialty. They do have stunning vocals and vocal focused songs tho.
On the topic of Blackpink, my fav song from them is boombayah! So I’d say that’s a good one to listen to as well

You should react to Stray Kids and ATEEZ! They are practically twinning boy groups with the same level of energetic sound of their song productions, and both groups are consisted of 8 members. You need to react to them, ASAP!!
YESSSSS! BOTH OF THOSE GROUPS ARE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Vocally, dance wise, visuals, lyrics wise, and just them as a group and individuals they’re so hilarious and wholesome!
Fun fact about Stray Kids, they write, compose, and produce 99.8% of all their music. Oh and ATEEZ also play a huge role in their production but not sure to what extent.
Some great songs to start with for both of these groups are GOD’S MENU, Thounderous, Manic, and TOPLINE from Stray Kids. And for Ateez, Deja Vu, HALAZIA, BOUNCY, and Wave. With Ateez, they have a storyline that is told through their songs, so the music videos can sometimes be a bit confusing if you don’t watch their trailers. But you can still appreciate and enjoy their amazing music and awesome choreography, vocals, and visuals (:

I'm not sure why you have so many cuts in the videos. As long as you play the Big Hit intro, pause a couple times and don't try to monetize them BTS won't copyright block. And I've never heard of Blackpink blocking anyone as long as you follow the same rules
