Hell Yeah I want to live there,, I love the desert, if it’s affordable and safe with great schools and healthcare… absolutely!, I love ☀️ sunshine longer days.
I'd be more interested in one built in the Appalachians than in the desert. It would be easier to get water and wouldn't be so hot. One really cool thing in the plan is the long green space that winds its way through the whole city. Not only could you access this park from anywhere in town, but you could also use it to get around town, or just keep going through the greenway for miles and miles.
True This is what i was trying to point out… Maybe he s trying to get solar panel and some convertors to create water from the air. But still, it s hot as hell during summers and this is crazy. I would prefer somewhere in north, close to the mountain, full of forrest, rain and use some wind turbines to create power supply
What appeals to you about Telosa? For a lot of people, a place like Telosa isn't of any interest. If you've seen our other video about NEOM, a lot of the comments outline some concerns. Thanks for watching and commenting!
This can succeed if done right. We NEED to move towards a future where housing, food, and one's needs are taken care of, in which poverty, starvation and homelessness are non existent. One of the biggest aspects this city should have is that landlords don't exist and that EVERYONE is provided a home. Take away a person's fear of homelessness, and they can truly thrive and create, advancing society forward and make sure everyone benefits.
Thank you - really appreciate the feedback! You should check out some of our other videos! We have one about Toyota's Woven City, Bill Gates' smart city in Arizona, and Saudi Arabia's NEOM that you might find interesting! Thanks for watching and commenting!
If you want to do something sustainable and equitable why build a city? Why not fund projects that change systems where people live, without the fanfare? It's not open if there's a diversity requirement.
Lol let’s build a city in the desert when global warming and water issues are increasing. Not a smart idea. Also maybe they should fix what we already have… like buy an entire section of a city and retrofit and make it like your vision…. Far less time, money and resources to upgrade what we already have.
Agreed. Many of these smart/future cities were contrived well before the current water issues the world is facing. That being said, if sea water desalinization becomes a viable option moving forward, I bet we'll see many of these cities, Telosa included, actually get built. You should check out our other video about NEOM where the builders have proposed a desalinization process that would work well for this type of project as well (assuming they can divert sea water to Telosa's ultimate location). Thanks for watching!

It's not utopian, it's dystopian.
such a beautiful ambition, I have nothing but respect. I will be tracking this closely.

Pretty sure this was the concept for Jonestown too lol we see how that ended
Always a catch
Equitable and Inclusive? Who’s gonna fund that though?
You're not wrong. It's going to take some very deep private pockets to fund the build for sure.
It won’t be inclusive , just tokenism at best
Sounds like a WEF vision!

Desert is cheap becuase it had no water. If someone can solve a water problem, they'll surely success.
A China já faz cidades assim

Don’t worry they will steal all the water from the free people if we survive
Urban sprawl don't exist there .
