My Top 5 Tips to apply:
1. Keep any Perfect Non-inscribed(OS) Weapons/Items such as +5 Energy(any r) , 15^50(q9), 20/20(any q), 20/10(any q), 15 -1(any q), Dual Mod Shields. All these can be Price Checked in Kamadan and sold there.
2. Check Skin Value on kamadan.declty... for ANY Q9 INSCRIBED weapons before merch/salvaging.
3. Merch/Salvage any q10 or Higher Inscribed Non-Rare Weapons
4. Look at the Mods/Runes on the items before salvaging/merching to see if their worth removing from the item before merching/salvaging.
5. MERCH items valued OVER 250gp Value most of the time if their merched based.
In general, 90% of the items in general gameplay are going to be merch/salvage based and not worth your time to sell in-game. Just lookout before you decide to merch or salvage old school items or End-Chest items as there could be some valuable items so double check before you make that mistake that could cost you. I normally salvage if it will turn into iron, bone or dust. I never salvage staves or bows unless it says highly salvageable. Also for runes I always go to a rune trader and see what the rune is worth before I salvage it.
1. You can make some rare materials from materials maker.
2. Many forget gold during a speed clear.
3. Survivor can be reset now...
4. Salvaging runes from Armor that you don't use anymore is okay.
5. Quests used with vanquishes can mess it up, when failed and can cause a rezone...
6. Selling rare material to players can be a hit or miss if not knowing the buy and sell prices
Maybe topic for collector's items like destroyer cores and superb Charr carvings

It is good to salvage it just to learn what you get even if you get a loss. The knowledge is worth more

Gw1 pvp ascalon arena shivered arena. Random arena was best over ever. Hope the make gw classic soon.

6:15 this, in my opinion, is not good advice. it is much better to go to the rune vendor first and see what the runes sell for while salvaging, because some of those gold runes sell for 25 gold at the vendor, but the whole item is 296 gold total.

What if it salvaged into wood? Also what can you do with wood? Is there something better than just selling it?
Wood is usually the same price as merchant so really you can just merch the wood. I usually merch the weapons that salvage into wood as it yields to more gold then to salvage into wood. Most weapons as mentioned in the video are not worth selling to a player and the Creators didn't make any form of other option to making gold/money outside of selling to merchant or players sadly so merchant is the option most of the time.
I always keep wood and ingots to make perfect salvage kits. I get the runes off with perfect kit then I either merch or salvage the drop item. And you pronounce it sal-vage lol.
So far I have mostly salvaged everything and got a lot of materials from it. Think is I have very limited storage for them. Are there any things I that I can use as sink for them or is it better to just sell them (materials)?
I either sell mine by the stack in kamadan by the average cost from kamadan.decltype.org/ OR use them for Consumables at the trader.
