I have been on that tram so many times. That tram connects to OHSU which is a hospital. When my grandpa was in the hospital we would ride that tram so many times a day to try and get the negative thoughts out of our heads. I'm glad you guys got to enjoy the City of Roses from the tram!!!

Portland is home to the International Rose Test Garden (oldest ongoing rose test garden in the states) which is home to rose variations from all over the world. Also the Portland Rose Society was established in 1889 here. Due to our climate roses grow really well here. Portland is also known as Bridge City due to the crazy amount of bridges of course.

Hey you're at the Audubon Society! My husband brought a crow there once. We love those trails up there. It's so crazy how that road goes from city to sanctuary in like .04 miles! Love the tunnels. Our kids go crazy. And the moss and green is rejuvenating. Glad you got to do it! I hope you can see Beacon Rock! Go to Papa Hayden! Just for the dessert of nothing else! Oh and you should visit Powells Book Store!
I have always wanted to go on the gandalo whenever I head into Portland but just never had the time. It looks fun. I also never walked through the forest park. I am definitely making a date with my boyfriend with those locations. I am glad you guys are getting the whole view of Portland. You are definitely making the trip worth it (but don't forget OMSI and the Portland Zoo!!!)

My husband is prior military. He actually just got out 1/31 of this year. We were stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord for 2 years. We are from Georgia, and are currently back in GA. I'm sure Kelsey and Corbin are able to tell you are the weather, obviously. But, going from living in a warm climate the majority of my life to the Pacific Northwest where it is rainy and 60ish or below 75% of the year was extremely hard and depressing for me. People either tend to LOVE the Pacific Northwest or really dislike it... and we were one of the families that just couldn't get used to it. There were so many beautiful places and so much BEAUTIFUL scenery there. I am truly glad we had the opportunity to be there, but it is not somewhere I would ever choose to live. I was 6 weeks pregnant with my 2nd son when we moved there. I know you guys said you are going to visit several states before making your decision. The way you guys love the California weather, it is hard for me to envision you guys loving the coolness and rain longterm, but I don't really know what Idaho weather is like. I hope you guys are planning to make a visit to see Cullen & Katie! Alabama/Georgia have great weather most of the time and the living is actually really cheap! As much as I would love to visit California, I have often wondered how people working in normal career fields can afford to live there comfortably, so I don't blame you all for looking into other options regardless of your financial situation! We currently live in NW GA, and just moved here in February from Savannah, GA where my husband was stationed in the Army for the last two years. We loved South GA as well although it was very humid and hot. I hope you guys will find a place you truly love and have fun visiting all your friends and exploring in the mean time!!

I was watching Ellie and Jareds vlog yesterday when she went into labour so I have been waiting till today to see the vlog.....I hope it goes up soon. It was like a cliffhanger from a program and you have to wait to find out what happened LOL Everyone else has seen photos but i don't have twitter or IG so i have to wait for the vlog BIG SIGH so i am right there with you Missy....come on Jared!!!! Right near Casey Eye Center. I used to go there every month to see doctors for my vision issues. So many surgeries and crazy memories. I remember seeing them build that thing lol.
