Well done on doing the marathon. For most people I’d say one of the most painful things is doing a 5k at pace. Of course it’s relative. I know people that can do sub 18 easy because they are trained but the average is about 25mins. Anyway I agree people should feel a certain amount of pain so they can feel alive. It’s in Buddhism and the fight club. Also like you said in away people are attracted to confidence happy people. Take care
You understood the point right there: certain amount of pain. Not so much it damages you permanently like some in the comments seemed to take it.. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and have a blessed day!
Ultras seem absolutely insane.. I got some kind of stress fracture in my right foot from the marathon now. An ultra would have destroyed me. Do you still run shorter distances?
@@indiesorcerer unfortunately not anymore. I had an accident and problems with my knees and now I fell the stairs and got some back issues. I wish I could run again 😔
Pain, physical or emotional, is the way your body tells you that you are doing something wrong. Ignoring its warning borders on stupidity.

I agree with this message💪haha
Sorry, but there are better ways to improve self-aware, resilience and self-motivation than fuckaking up your feet and knees.
I will never run an ultra marathon with 73 kagain, I was crazy in pain after 55k
