It seems in my case at least that unless the User Registration feed runs then the GravityPress feed will not run. I tested it by changing the Registration feed to "Update" for the logged in user and the GravityPress feed ran. If I change the User Registration to "Create" and bypass it with a rule then the GravityPress feed does not run.
