    Ok, so, let's say the kid doesn't interfere, he may have caught it, he may not have. Then what? If it bounces off the wall it's a hit right? Now, let's say they call it interference, yanks can still win the game. Also, it's only game one, let's say they lose game one, they can't win theseries? I hate all the people who complain about this call so much, as if it the sole reason for the dynasty. Get a clue people.

    • @RB2331
      @RB2331 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Billy Bong Bill u are 100 % right ...first...look at the angle that fuckin outfielder would've missed the ball ...the kid isn't there...the ball is over his glove and if he makes the catch ..ok..we have a one more inning and if we lose the first fucking game or lose 2 games u can come back like they did in 78 !

    • @aaronnusbaum8406
      @aaronnusbaum8406 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think anyone said it was the sole cause of the Yankee dynasty. It was the turning point in both that game and series. If that ball went off the wall it would've been a 1 out double, so chances are Jeter wouldn't score and the Yankees would've lost. If the series continued the way it did from there the Yankees would play at least 6 games, and that's assuming the Orioles didn't gain momentum from game 1, but I'll assume you're not a believer in momentum. If the Yankees had to play 6 or 7 games they might not have beaten the Braves because they'd be worn out from playing that many games.

    • @TL2354
      @TL2354 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +truemetalhead It wasn't the turning point in the series. If this is ruled an out the O's win. The O's won Game 2 by scoring 2 in the 7th, 1 in the 8th, innings that Mariano would've pitched if he didn't pitch the 9th & 10th in Game 1 so either way the series is 1-1 heading to Baltimore for 3 games. O's had a 2-1 lead in the 8th in Game 3 and blew it. Game 1 had nothing to do with them losing Game 3. Yanks still win the series
