It's really nice to see some people who express joy in their martial arts.Joy leads to cooperation and cooperation leads to learning together without fear or hatred.

It’s Southern, probably Cantonese “ interpretation” or name branding. A Tibetan bodyguard I met ( I’m Tibetan Buddhist) I once asked about “ Tibetan White Crane” said he never heard of such a thing at all

The founder was Ordator (Kagyu hermit). His student was Drollo Khadampa. Eventually it went to China. In modern times, young Tibetan monks in India would do parts of this martial arts. The older monks were mostly amused. The previous Tomo Geshe Rinpoche did some research on what is now know as White Crane (kung fu).

It's looks good but it have too much yang on it. The crane arts works better in balance between ying and yang moments. Soft and then get explosives. It's like Wu style. The person needs too feel it like it's a crane taking a bath in a river. Soft then the crane move the wings to take out the water from it's feathers. I don't know if I'd made any sense. Crane style and as any other styles it needs that fluidity of softness and then explosiveness. That fluctuation. He is good no doubt but, I bet if I see her doing the form. She will do it beautiful. Remember kung Fu sometimes is not about muscle. You can have muscle but it's more about the fluidity of the movement. It's like writing in parchment with a 🖌️ or swimming in a pond. It's need to be feel natural. It's like you and nature are part of each other.

This system was called Lion's roar, Lama pai and Hop Gar(heros Family)
Despite its modern name "Tibetan White Crane" its not a crane style nor related to Crane arts...
And only got its current name because of its evasion techniques. The style is heavy on long arm
swings and smashing techniques based on the Ape....
Same with Southern Praying Mantis a system NOT based on Praying Mantis but named so for its aggressiveness and is not an actually Mantis imitation style unlike the unrelated Northern Praying Mantis(Actual Mantis imitation system)etc.....Southern Praying Mantis actual name is Chow Gar and Chu Gar which are a Hakka style or Hakka Kuen system.
