I don’t understand. Is this video supposed to be making Queens look bad or something? All I see is people walking around going about their day, people shopping, people going home from work, people talking to each other, etc.
Ya wanna make a video that gives 3rd world country vibes, go record some small red towns in red states. Go record in West Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi. etc.
NYC has an average yearly murder rate of between 300-400. Roughly one a day. It sounds bad, and that’s how they trick you, but NYC has 10 MILLION PEOPLE in it. 300-400 murders per year in a population of 10 million people makes NYC one of the safest cities in the country.
Your likelihood of becoming a victim of violent crime is actually far greater in most small red towns. Many of those towns with populations of 20 thousand have average murder rates of 10 per year. Doesn’t sound like a lot…does it? Well 10 murders in a population of 20 thousand means if that small town had 10 million people, like NYC does, their murder rate would be 5,000 per year.
THEE MOST violent city America is Monroe, Louisiana. Population 50 thousand. (Votes red). Go record there. They have the highest rate of violent crimes in general. Murder, assault, robbery, SA, etc.
NYC doesn’t even make the Top 20 list of cities with the highest violent crime rates. Actually, none of cities you often hear about on outlets like FOX ‘NEWS’ do. Not Liz Angeles, San Francisco, not Seattle, not Portland, not Chicago, none of em. They just have those sexy sounding murder rates in the hundreds that the mainstream news outlets like, but they have millions of people.
It’s a lot harder to sensationalize murder rate numbers like 12, or 9, or so on.
    It’s all about per capita!

    Your title is misleading.
This is just one shopping area of Queens, in a low income neighborhood.
You will say and do anythi g for views, i'm guessing.

Queens is the largest borough and has always been the most diverse. You are showing all the poorer and lower income areas. I've lived and worked in Queens all my life and there are many nice affluent areas of Queens. I'd bet my life that I could go into any city big or and find bad low income areas. Everyone loves to get clicks on their channels and exploit NYC because we're the biggest well known city. It's kind of getting old.

Fr! It’s sad. I’m born and raised in Brooklyn. NYC is statistically one of safest in the US per capita. I’d like to see these people go record some small backwater in Alabama

@@doa766 Amazing how TH-cam deletes around 70% of my comments. But here I will answer the question again. Where are the white people? Many are still property owners, landlords, Business people, and people that sit on the board of business improvement districts in the area. They definitely don’t live in the area. Jamaica estates maybe.

@@chriss1152 I should've made myself more clearer, I grew up in Nassau county, moved to Suffok county about twenty years ago and Nassau county is somewhat like Queens, if not the same. If Gods willing, I would never move back to Nassau Countu. I'm not tryingto be offensive, but rather truthful about the changing demographics, that's why I left Nassau county myself. It is what it is...
