Jade, that second windsock (the ghost) I used to have. I bought it at a garage sale one year, and I used to hang it up when I decorated for Halloween when the kids were at school. They would tell me when they saw the windsock hanging up on the porch from the school bus, they would be so excited because they knew it would be all decorated and magical inside, and I would always have my pumpkin spice candles lit and something yummy cooking. That was a core memory for all of my kids. Now, I have since given that windsock to my son for his own front porch. Good memories!! 💀💯🍁

Jade, those little plastic skeleton and pumpkin guys that you said you thought the heads popped off are Rosen Halloween candy containers from the 70’s. They originally had little tiny balls of candy inside them. My mom bought me those when I was a little kid. They sell for $30 and up on Ebay. Vintage is my absolute favorite! Reminds me of my childhood! 🎃 I hope you feel better and take care! 🧡
Omg I’ll be 53 in a couple weeks and this was light a flashback to my childhood cuz my mom and grandparents had these decorations…🎃 I teared up knowing that Lucian will grow up knowing that this was his grandmother and Daddy’s decoration collection 🎃🖤👻

You should put the jack-o'-lantern lights with the cords (you said on top of your cabinets) in the windows....like how people put the candlesticks in the windows, in the front of the house windows so you can see them from the street. Definitely are super awesome!!

My favorite item from when I was a kis was this 1980s haunted house. It lights up green on the inside and it plays the iconic spooky music all vintage decor plays. When I moved out, my parents let me have it and it's my favorite thing to put up every year!

that is definitely a windsock! i have one. we make a graveyard under the big tree in our front yard. we put the windsock way up in the tree on a pully with a long string that comes to the front door. We don't do it to the little kids, but when the older ones stop to look at the cemetery, we let loose the string from our position at the front door and the skeleton windsock floats down into their field of vision. they all scream. they love it!!!

I love those vintage Beistle diecut decorations! I was a kid in the 70s and my mom always put those up all over the house. I found some originals from back then about fifteen years ago, and even though my kids are pretty much grown, we still put them up every year.
Amazing vintage items. VERY collectable. Those multi-character string lights are SO FRIGGEN COOL. Pleeeease don't change the lights out on the anything. They are investments even if not working. Changing them will drastically reduce their value. Plus they're definitely not as toxic as some modern stuff can be. Just because they sell it, doesn't mean it's safe. But yeah, SUPER COOL haul. I had a Christmas version of those connected candles! It came with a holder that had a tall base and a slot to put the top candle in, and the rest dangled down. Once the top candle burned, you’d just bring up the next one.
Yes! I still have this stuff from when I was a kid. I have the ghost candle, the ghost windsock, the scarecrow pumpkin guy basket! That just goes to show, when we were kids, there was only a few Halloween decorations offered each year! It blows my mind every year all the Halloween decorations we can get now!!!❤❤❤

I love old Halloween stuff. I mean we get some cool things here and there each year but over all I much prefer old halloween decor. It feels more whimsical and also Jack-o-lantern centric. It also feels like we got more unique jack-o-lantern faces, scary, laughing, silly, goofy etc. Great Haul and I'm glad you're okay!!

4:50 we used to have those exact same lights and they lasted for years before they finally stopped wanting to turn on. It's kinda nostalgic to see them.
I had a Christmas version of those connected candles! It came with a holder that had a tall base and a slot to put the top candle in, and the rest dangled down. Once the top candle burned, you’d just bring up the next one.

Yes! I still have this stuff from when I was a kid. I have the ghost candle, the ghost windsock, the scarecrow pumpkin guy basket! That just goes to show, when we were kids, there was only a few Halloween decorations offered each year! It blows my mind every year all the Halloween decorations we can get now!!!❤❤❤
That light up garland was magnificent and the with with the orange hair blee me away! My sister still has a foam pumpkin we carved out in 2001 and it reminds me of childhood

I'm winding down for the night. Just hopped on youtube to catch up on some jadethelibra since I just became an official member of the spooky family even though I've been watching and following for awhile now. Anyway, saw this new video and got so excited. Had to watch right away! It is that time of year. Tomorrow I am going with my twin and we are taking my kids halloween hunting to the local thrift stores. Wish us luck!
I love old Halloween stuff. I mean we get some cool things here and there each year but over all I much prefer old halloween decor. It feels more whimsical and also Jack-o-lantern centric. It also feels like we got more unique jack-o-lantern faces, scary, laughing, silly, goofy etc. Great Haul and I'm glad you're okay!!

Omg we had the light up pumpkin pillow thing when I was a kid! I never understood what it exactly was for back then haha. Love all the vintage Halloween, it will be so cool to see how you incorporate it into your existing decor. Also your MIL stored all this very well it seems, what a gem she is!

The ghostie treat bowl has got to be one of my favorites in that haul! When I saw that it could be a skeleton or the ghost and we didn’t know which one was inside as much as they were both super cute, I was really hoping It was the ghost and I was just so happy for you when it turned out to be the ghost!!
