I do feel with China flexing their military muscle in the area that Americans will be parking their fleet and military personnel in the Philippines. This is a mere facade to whats really going on behind close doors.
Philippines, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan are the only countries that are close allies of the West in that region; if they lose those four, the balance of force in the world will drastically shift, and World War III might really happen, which is not what we want. I'm in for US hegemony if that is what they say because I don't want another war. Those people who think breaking the US hegemony is good for the world are clueless. It has already happened in history that when a new superpower emerges, it will challenge the existing superpower, and a world war will erupt.
