Love the city where I was born and I wish I could live there but my husband won't. Enjoy it!

Typical gringo teachers in Mexico City make about 15,000 pesos a month. Teachers working at prestigious international schools make around 25,000 pesos a month. Lots of gringo teachers in Mexico teach online classes to Chinese people but the peak hours start at 4 AM. Those classes pay around 20 US dollars an hour (close to 500 pesos/hora). Sometimes the Chinese companies will reduce your pay a lot when they find you are not teaching from a native English speaking country so lots of teachers living in Mexico use VPNs when they teach online. Colombia also has lots of gringo teachers working online.
