In a game like this, fast reaction is more than just doing one thing over and over again. Its about making the defensive move at the correct time while waiting to make the correct offensive move at the best opportunity or the correct distancing move the moment you need a breather (which lasts a very short time with some fromsoftware bosses)
exactly, also I find sekiro more forgiving when dying because you lose little exp and money isn't necessary to unlock skills and upgrading stats unlike other souls games
And dying isn’t even a big deal in this From game. If your smart you’ll spend as much money as possible on all merchants available so far and make sure if you have a partially filled bar of exp you fill it to the next skill point and stop. Then go learn your boss. You won’t lose exp past 0 or skill points alrdy gain and money is stupidly easy to farm.

He never utilizes the deflect rhythim against her making her WAY harder than she actually is. (she's one of the easier bosses in the game). Not to mention if he is having trouble with her, I have great doubt he will ever get past the bull, let alone genichiro himself.

Her move set has a lot of telegraphs and her illusions hardly appear after the second time she casts them and you nullify them. Her unblockables are easily dodged and honestly she's the easiest to deflect in the game. She also staggers more often than other bosses.

Fun fact about the surge: the xbox one version of the game is quite literally broken. The dlc "walk in the park" and the patch that came with it fucked the main game's code. Once you reach the area with the level 30 circuit with the nucleus, the game crashes every time you go up an exolift. It's been like that since about october 2017. Over a year. But instead of rolling back the patch or actually taking the time to fix it, they made up excuses and left it to release more dlcs and a sequel. Learned my lesson about those lazy devs. They fuck up an entire platform's version of the game and just throw out some statements that they are "trying" to fix it on the thread exposing it instead of actually making more people aware of it so they don't waste their money. Hope the next version has as even bigger fuckup and they get fucked up the ass with refund demands and lawsuits.

Keep in mind the bug has existed for over a year. I'm never buying one of their priducts again unless they fix the surge 1. Glad i didn't buy any dlc, cos then i woulda been stuck and even more ripped off. If they can't fix it, since they cause it, they should be refunding everyone who bought it or deactivate the xbox one patch that enables the content (something which multiple users suggest they do). But as it stands, it is still broken, either they can't fix it, or are too lazy. But i know for certain that they are not to be trusted to fix their game. And if they were actually prioritising it, they wouldn't have rolled out more dlcs on xbox version. Out of concern for if it were to happen again in the sequel to another platform, don't buy the sequel until it is certain nothing bad will happen.
Will it hurt to spend like 30 mins with the Undying NPC? He's literally there for you to teach you the basics. I swear to god you'll survive this game just by putting some time on the NPC learning how to properly deflect and counter unblockables. Lady Butterfly is the easiest boss in this game, she's a basics skill check, the rest is pattern recognition and she doesn't have a lot of moves. That's what makes her the easiest.

Fun fact about the surge: the xbox one version of the game is quite literally broken.
The dlc "walk in the park" and the patch that came with it fucked the main game's code. Once you reach the area with the level 30 circuit with the nucleus, the game crashes every time you go up an exolift. It's been like that since about october 2017. Over a year. But instead of rolling back the patch or actually taking the time to fix it, they made up excuses and left it to release more dlcs and a sequel.
Learned my lesson about those lazy devs. They fuck up an entire platform's version of the game and just throw out some statements that they are "trying" to fix it on the thread exposing it instead of actually making more people aware of it so they don't waste their money. Hope the next version has as even bigger fuckup and they get fucked up the ass with refund demands and lawsuits.
@@kinorris1709 Thats really unfortunate. It just came out on PS+ as a montly game and i really enjoyed it, i felt like it was an underrated game. is the issue still not fixed or did you not have a look back on it since.
@@acronyx991 last time i checked was a few weeks ago but it has not been patched, the forum is still complaining and they haven't got on to say they've patched it. Keep in mind the bug has existed for over a year.
I'm never buying one of their priducts again unless they fix the surge 1. Glad i didn't buy any dlc, cos then i woulda been stuck and even more ripped off.
If they can't fix it, since they cause it, they should be refunding everyone who bought it or deactivate the xbox one patch that enables the content (something which multiple users suggest they do). But as it stands, it is still broken, either they can't fix it, or are too lazy. But i know for certain that they are not to be trusted to fix their game. And if they were actually prioritising it, they wouldn't have rolled out more dlcs on xbox version.
Out of concern for if it were to happen again in the sequel to another platform, don't buy the sequel until it is certain nothing bad will happen.

Will it hurt to spend like 30 mins with the Undying NPC? He's literally there for you to teach you the basics. I swear to god you'll survive this game just by putting some time on the NPC learning how to properly deflect and counter unblockables.
Lady Butterfly is the easiest boss in this game, she's a basics skill check, the rest is pattern recognition and she doesn't have a lot of moves. That's what makes her the easiest.
