I’m English speaking and I’m currently living in a Francophone country, it’s important we English speaking people make an effort to speak basic French, cuz most francophone countries try their best to learn and speak basic English. ❤
This is not true. I have been and lived in French countries. You will be amazed to see 4 out of 100 persons that speak English. In Dakar you can greet someone "good morning" and they don't even know what you said. 95 % of their population speak French, and wollof same thing to many other french countries I have been.

I loved this vlog as I am French speaking with ties to Côte d’Ivoire. I also visited Senegal some years ago. I love Senegalese people and Senegal. The food is amazing too. I especially like Tiep ( I call it the francophone jollof!). You should try it! I am looking forward to more vlogs from this trip.
