Thank you! This is a lot simpler than other videos and I appreciate you showed us where to find the masks... I was having a devil of a time trying to figure out where other people got them from.
What do you use to record to record the screen Dave?
I used Camstudio for this. Now days I use OBS. Both are free.
Also Windows Game Bar works for Windows 10, free from Microsoft.

Thanks for the great tutorial. Could you tell me how I could zoom in on a moving object, the face for example, and keep that zoomed to the middle regardless of where the person moves during the scene?

I think the masks only come with the Plus version of Pro. I got them by going to help and then download extra content. You may also be able to call Magix and order an effects package. Otherwise you could use the blur effect I went over in this video.

I’m trying to figure out how to use your method to apply a “spot shadow”, or spotlight? Where you darken the image and leave a circle of normal picture to highlight an object, in my case it’s a shot looking down at my Mavic from another drone above it.
Should be easy to do. I’ll play around with it tonight!

You could do that using a mask between two copies of the segment with drone from above.

The Cookie Cutter effect might work as a mask. There is a circle shape.

Hi Dave is there a way to change the mask, for argument sake let say I used a blur effect mask after finishing a project I realised that it didn't work can I go back and apply Mozaique without redoing the whole project but simply modifie the mask??
I am not sure. Maybe. Do a practice run and see if it works.

Since my ownership of Magix I did not know this I laugh not at you, but at myself. Lol. And have to thank you for this, I came across this clip under masking. I will have some good use for that now, I do have a question and like to know if you have that answer, if I am explaining it right. I want say three of the same clips, me walking down a log and have all three running at the same time. but with say a second behind each so they trail? It is like the gopro burst photo where you have to overlay each photo, but in video?

***** Ha ha, yup this masking is something I recently discovered myself playing around so I am not surprised you missed it.What you want to do is certainly possible. Put all your vids on seperate tracks. The one on the bottom track is the only one you will see at first. Use size/position effect on lower track to reveal the track above. Squish and move all tracks around until you get what you want. Picture-on-Picture basically.

Hi, You know how movies have field of depth. How would I add that to a video in Magix? I guess it's mostly blurring the background while keeping the person in the foreground sharp.

are you able to motion track multiple items? Example....players on a soccer field.
I think that would be beyond the capabilities of MEP.
QUESTION:
I have Magix 2014 version, so can I blur people's faces and bodies while they are moving or standing by using this version?
You should be able to blur with MEP 2014. Try it and see.
This video is not useful to me because all of my shots are more complex. The object being blurred constantly moves in and out of frame because I am on a motorcycle and I turn my head a lot. This program does not seem to be able to handle it.
When I clicked "Load Effects Mask", nothing came up. How do you get those options? It said "No items match your search". :(
+schumache101 It might be you don't have the PLUS version or it's not registered or something like that. You can contact Magix and ask them for the feature.

IM back... i cant get this to work, well actually i can kind of.... i have a charactor running accross the screen but the magnetic title only follows him for about a sec or to?? any tips on how to fix this issue..
shaneanus I don't have anything beyond what is in the video. Make sure there are no effects such as speed applied to the clip before you start. Pick a high contrast area that remains visible throughout the clip.

HEY DAVE!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! one more question how can I put a video back together after splitting it in thousand pieces.
Export the split up section at as a magix video format MXV and then add it back to your project replacing the original. Or if you don't care about losing the effects changes just re-import the original clip and re-edit.
If the splits are recent you can use UnDo.
