I’m digging that dual drinking option lid! I like straws when my water has ice in it, but once the ice is melted you can gulp away. Great color options and an upscale look. It’s going on my wishlist.
@@PackHacker2thanks for the review on the water bottle was wondering how that sipper works. Doesn’t give a video on Amazon how to work it. Thanks very much. Is it with buying?
I love my Thermos Plastic water bottle. The bottom doesn't gets dent and I love the wide handle. I had stainless steel water bottles every time I drop it on the ground the water bottle bottom gets damage It's a garbage to me already.
Yes!! I’ve been recommending this bottle to people. I have the same model for little over 2 years now. It’s been dropped onto concrete a few times. Bottom of the bottle has a few dings in but stands up just fine. The lid that covers the drinking hole has a crack right down the middle but the seal is still good and no water leaks out. They do sell replacement lids and straws on their website in case one more drop finally destroys the lid. The insulation is wonderful and does last the 24 hours and during the summer where temps can reach 105, a sip of cold water does wonders. I love this bottle and use it daily because it’s held strong despite me being accident prone.
What?! I’m just finding out that they sell replacement lids? I dropped my first owala at work one day and it broke the lid. This whole time I could have bought a replacement!!!
One month in with my Owala FreeSip water bottle, and it continues to impress! The durable build and convenient FreeSip spout have proven their worth, and the sleek design makes it a stylish accessory wherever I go. Plus, scoring it at a great price from Flibbrix was the cherry on top. Staying hydrated has never been so enjoyable. Thanks, Owala and Flibbrix, for enhancing my daily routine with this fantastic water bottle!
I've had mine for a few weeks, and I love it! The pour spout is nice for getting the last of your drink, and I especially love the handle as well. I don't have to worry about the lid popping open in my bag. 10/10 from me, would DEFINITELY recommend.
Anytime I need to get the silicone ring out of the lid to clean it, I found that the only way to do it easily is the hit the lid into the palm of your hand until the ring just falls out into your hand. Works everytime.
They are great. My #1 choice is the 32 oz Free Sip and they have several good colors to choose from. Never had mine to leak unless I accidentally left open and knocked open. 40 oz is too big and 24oz is too small. 32oz is perfect, no too heavy, is easy to carry around and doesn’t require as many refills
Last week I was in DSW in Manhattan. Standing in the checkout line I saw this water bottle, remembered it from this video and purchased it. It is fabulous. Soooooo glad I purchased it. I will be taking it with me on ALL trips from now on.
Thank you for your review. I was wondering why no one was talking about hot water. You’re the 1st I’ve found so far that mentions hot water. Well now that I know, I won’t be getting it. I need something for hot water.
A hydro flask will probably be a better option for you! I have one as well but I bought a wide mouth one so unfortunately it doesn’t have the straw therefore I stopped using it. Sometimes you can find them cheaper in stores like tjmaxx, Marshall’s, or home goods if you’re in the US!
I just bought this from REI the other day. The 24 oz fit better in my car cupholder and backpack bottle pouch. I agree that the flat sides make it easier to hold. I bought this and the larger one. I am taking back the larger one. Seems like a great bottle so far.
Same. I bought a couple larger ones Sam's Club and I'm looking at exchanging them for more 24 oz because the 32 oz bottles are more awkward to hold. I can deal with refilling them more frequently lol.
I love my Owala bottle but Owala would do much well in sales if they were able to allow people to customize the colors the way they want just like how Hydroflask does
Thanks! Excited to get one when I have some more funds. I'm also going to get their 2 in 1 water bottle brush since it isn't dishwasher safe! I'm a water bottle hoarder...but I also have a graveyard of water bottles. For some reason, I'll just randomly stop using my water bottle of choice one day and it ends up in the graveyard along with the others...I think one of the reasons is I get tired of trying to clean it without a bottle brush. I'm hoping the Owala freesip along with the bottle brush will help break that cycle. We'll see. But I'm excited for this one! Love built in straws and love the option to "swig" if I want to.
I am looking to get one soon, I know you mentioned that you cannot put any hot liquids in it. If I were to remove the straw does it make it safe to drink hot liquids or not?
these are surprisingly not new at all which shocked me i work at a grocery store and a shipper just came in for these bottles i bought one immediately before our person put a sign on it love this “free sip” kinda design i got the all black one and might consider using it as my main water bottle as i don’t have one lol
This bottle says that can't have carbonated water, sparkling water, soda, etc. I guess it's because when you open the gas creates the pression and makes that sound like you are opening champagne. I use sparkling and coca-cola in my owala bottle. When you press the button to open, do gently and I put my hand behind the lid to minimize the splash. I think this happens more when you fill the bottle almost to the edge, when you open you hear the sound of champagne being opened. It's a shame this bottle does not accept hot drinks. Well I had to buy other different bottles with variety of features to resolve this issue.
I just saw this ad on Facebook. It was for their new star wars colors and I'm a sucker for star wars but wanted to see a hands on video of the bottle this sold me.
@@PackHacker2 I just got the limited edition neon green one. They do these color drops where they only make a certain amount and the neon green is my current favorite!
could you put hot liquids in it if you just took out the straw for that? I had one of these a while ago, lost it. I miss it but I really like multipurpose things so it only taking cold liquids is kind of deterring me. I even have silicone straws that I would try to see if they fit because they are heat safe... but, I just don't want to ruin the bottle, if there's some other issue with hot liquid for some reason
@reallywes6298 I have the 24 oz and it is too big for my cup holder. I also find that ice does not last long in the Owala. It is nice looking so it might just be my around the house water bottle since it is not useful in the car.
if you have something that is carbonated, even if slightly, will it squirt out when you open it? I have had that issue unfortunately with other bottles.
I just got one from target, the color combo (orange body with purple top) stopped me in my tracks, the mouth plus straw also seems interesting, this will be replacing a contigo version/model.
Zojirushi SM-VA bottles are easiest to clean. Their gaskets are attached so you don't need to remove them to clean. Only three parts to clean. Idk why the Owalla has become so popular when the Zojirushi is clearly better-- both in use and aesthetics.

How does the 32oz fit in cup holder?

I just brought the 32 oz and I love it. Keeps my water cold and the free sip function is so cool! Plus, it looks nice.
Glad you're enjoying it, Faith!
Hey, I'm wondering does the 32 oz fit in a normal car cup holder? This would be the only reason I wouldn't get this size
Does it fit in car holder?
I love my Owala. I have been using one for over 2 years and I would never use any other water bottle ever!!!! Truly the best bottle ever!!!

How's durability. Looks like a lot of parts that could break compared to a regular screw on lid. And does it leak?

Love the sip straw because when driving lifting the bottle back to drink isn’t actually safe to do

@@PackHacker2 yep just ordered another 40oz free sip.
I really love the design of the owala brand. Very clean, water stay cool and fresh. Thank you 💙💛🧡💜
Since I don’t drink really hot liquids I do put 120 degrees coffee in my Owala and use the straw.
No rubber bumper at the bottom kind of sucks if you drop it

This review left me with the impression that I should find a review for this bottle.
Will the 32oz bottle still fit in most cup holders?
Very curious about this as well
‘24 Mazda CX-5 is a no. I got the 24oz for just this reason.
Why can't you drink hot water out of a straw? I've always drank hot water out of the straw. What's supposed to happen?

they have just relased a new water bottle free sio whitch is safe for hot iquids

With carbonated drinks you'll have that problem with ANY water bottle - unless your Coke has gone totally flat !
