I like this bottle better than the flip Owala as it is easier to grip/hold. Ice stays for days. A bit more to clean, but not difficult, and the sloped shoulder is way easier to clean than the hydro flask. Have not tried hot in the twist but like having this option. Owalas cleaning brush is worth the investment.
I thought that too until the first one I bought the button popped out on me within my first 5 mins of using it.. yeah don’t wanna be looking for a spring all the time and with this thing I never have to worry about that happening ever again
I'm thinking of getting an owala but I've seen reviews about the regular version where the button breaks, or the cap doesn't open as smoothly anymore after some time. That's why I'm considering the twist version bc I want it to last as long as possible
Thanks for the review. I am looking for a new smaller water bottle to fit my Tom Bihn Synapse 19. I agree that the original Owalas are great. My kids have been using them for a couple years now.
i like it better. it fits in cupholders and bottle pouches on backpacks far better than the wider bottles and can take hot and carbonated drinks. also, they're gaskets, not gussets (2:38; 2:50).
Apparently the little tab that lines up with th e spout isn't intended and is an "alignment mark" from the factory process. I bought an 18oz bottle and a 24oz bottle which the 24oz bottle doesn't have it. I emailed Owala support and confirmed that it isn't actually supposed to be there. Which I think is a shame because I love that little notch for tactile use
Desperately looking for a quality steel bottle where I can drink water from steel without passing or being in contact with plastic. No straws, no drink throuh plastic caps. All say BPA free, but none say bisphenol free, which means it can contain BPA alternatives such as BPS and BPF, which are just as bad. Same with Yeti and their tumbler with chugcap. Also want it to fit in my cup holder so I can take everywhere. Any suggestions?
It’s a nice looking bottle but I will stick with my Owala original bottle. I’m like you the amount of refills would drive me nuts during the day
Love my original owala but looking for a skinny version for my business bag, this will be perfect 👍🏼

Looks like a step backwards for this new version, the original on paper is much more practical imho

I don't like it
You could lose top😞☺️

I know you wrote this two months ago but I bought the 24 oz owala twist on Amazon and it has that alignment mark
They literally put a zipper pull on the lid, such innovation 😊
😂

How do you get your water? If it comes out of the tap how do you know what’s in it?
The steep shoulder on the hydro flask is harder to clean.
this video just left me wanting both, haha!
Favoring carbonated water, this Twist version (the 24 oz) will suit me. I have no problem using two hands for the cap.

All these bottles.. I'm a cheapo poor person, buy smart water once .. re use bottle. 🤣
Whatever works 😂
Forever chemicals😍
I got the original, best bottle I found so far. Also, even the 32oz fits in the car cupholder if it's upside down. Never spilled a drop :)
I gotta try that thanks for the tip
