German Shepherd Tells his Owner that he's Hungry

A clever German Shepherd tells his owner that he's hungry, as this dog with amazing communication skills is able to convey that fact that he wants food!
The video, filmed in the US in December 2015, shows Apollo the German Shepherd following his owner around the kitchen, nodding towards the pantry and fridge and barking when his owner says the word "food" or "hungry?"
At the beginning of the video, the cute dog even looks down at his empty bowl and gives it a whack with his paw.
The message he's trying to convey could not be more clear.
We also find out later in the footage that Apollo has just eaten and should really be full up.

I have a kelpie x collie. I swear he doesn't care about being fed. Getting him to a healthy weight was a chore. And now? There's a couple times I've fed him 2-3 hours late because he just doesn't care. He doesn't ask or beg for his brekky or dinner. He just would rather play and walk. I have almost no doubt that he could survive a day without food as long as someone threw his ball for him.
He is a good boy.
I enjoyed this video, it made me smile and laugh because of how goofy the dog is.

lol, he is just testing you, dogs by their nature eat only once a day, like a wolf in the wild hunts early in the morning and nothing the rest of the day. My GS did this when he was a puppy and i didn't play by his rules, now when he is older i see i'm the most respected member of his "pack" ( our family ) and he listens mostly only to me. and he likes me the most. :D He would be trained even better, but when i was at school or now at work, my family feeds him when he just looks sad... that's so annoying, and he isn't respecting them at all, jumps all over them and doesn't listen to them... lol.
